摘要： Devices, systems and methods of converting the necks on lamp shades into threadable couplers that allow the shades with the couplers to be screwed onto the exterior threads on light sockets, such as those types of sockets found on wall mounted and ceiling mounted candelabras and ceiling fans. The couplers can include plate members that are fastened in a sandwich configuration on both the inside and outside of the neck portion of the shade with the sandwiched plate members having an interior threaded surface. Modified lamp shades can be screwed to exterior threaded light sockets on candelabra lights, pendant lights, ceiling fan lights, and any other type of lamp sockets that have removable lamp shades.

The frame is constructed by an upper and lower frame parallel to each other, and two outer lateral surfaces of the upper and lower frame have two first buckling modules respectively. The shading cover comprises a decorating layer and a support layer. The decorating layer is disposed at the outer lateral surface of the support layer. The shade structure features that the two upper and lower edges of an outer lateral surface of the decorating layer are fastened with a second buckling module via a suture, and the two upper and lower edges are bent reversely from an outer lateral surface to an inner lateral surface of the support layer, so as to hide the suture in the inner lateral surface of the support layer, and the second buckling module is integrated with the two first buckling modules as one body.

摘要： A reconstructed wooden log has segments from the same log, each having opposing concentric arcuate ends and being fastened to adjacent segments with a spacer contacting effecting separation from each adjacent segment. A light source within a hollow interior defined by the arcuate interior ends emits light between the separations of the adjacent wood segments and around the spacers. Reconstruction of the original log includes separating the original log radially about its longitudinal axis into the segments, and removing a portion of each segment that was proximal the original log's longitudinal axis. The reconstructed log, having about the same length and width as that of the original log, can have electro-mechanics within and/or near its hollow interior to receive control signals and detect motion to initiate rotation of the log to reveal signage and other decorative embellishments illuminated by the light source, and/or render an audible report.

摘要： An easily assembled furnishing article comprises a plurality of elongated ribs having a decorative contour, a support plate and a secondary plate. A notched interface is provided between each of the ribs and each plate so that the ribs may be engaged around the perimeter of the plates to define the outer contours of the furnishing article. The notched interface is sized for a friction fit between the ribs and the plates and for easy manual engagement without the need for tools. In one embodiment the furnishing article is a light fixture in which the support plate defines a center opening for supporting a light socket and the secondary plate defines a center opening to receive a power cord of the socket therethrough. The support plate can define a plurality of interior openings to provide for heat convection away from a light bulb engaged within the socket.
