    • Provided is an active hood apparatus for a vehicle including a main frame, a hood latch assembly, and a hood rise and fall device. The main frame is fixed to a vehicle body. The hood latch assembly is disposed at a back side of the main frame to lock and release a hood. The hood rise and fall device is disposed between the back side of the main frame and the hood latch assembly to move the hood latch assembly substantially vertically by a control signal of a controller that receives a sensing signal from a pedestrian collision sensor.

    • The invention relates to a coupling structure between a lock and a latch in a vehicular tail gate locking system. The coupling structure of the invention comprises a key lever rotated depending on displacement of a first rod coupled to the lock and a remote lever rotated depending on rotation of the key lever to shift the position of the second rod. A control latch is further provided which allows the second rod to maintain its position as the lock is further rotated by any angle while the lock is in a locked position so that the further rotational force of the lock lever caused by a user is not transmitted to the latch.

    • A vehicle back door latch device has a striker fixed to a vehicle body, and a latch assembly fixed to a vehicle back door. The latch assembly comprises a main metal plate having a vessel-shaped storing portion for storing a latch, a sub metal plate fixed to the main metal plate so as to cover an upper opening of the storing portion. The storing portion is defined by a bottom wall, a front wall, a rear wall, a right-hand wall and a left-hand wall. A main notch portion and a sub notch portion are respectively formed in the bottom wall and the front wall for receiving the striker when the back door is closed. The rear wall is formed into an arc shape swelling backward. Engaging portions are respectively formed on both sides of the sub notch portion of the front wall, and studs which are engaged with the engaging portions when the back door is closed are fixed to the striker. A convex portion is formed in the main metal plate and a concave portion which is engageable with the convex portion is formed in the sub metal plate.
