摘要： Additives are described for use in high solids content epoxy-based corrosion resistant coatings in liquid form, where such additives are composed by microcapsules containing a regenerating agent dispersed in an organic solvent.The coatings, when additivated with such dispersion, will have the ability to self-regenerate in the event of damages (cracks or scratches) to the applied and cured coating on the metal surface, preventing the propagation of corrosion on the exposed metal surface.

摘要： An aqueous reaction product of a composition that may consist essentially of a source of an acid having a pKa in water of about 2 to about 8, a source of a base having a pKb in water of about 2 to about 6, and urea. A curable urea/formaldehyde resin composition may contain a curable urea/formaldehyde resin and the foregoing composition, and may be made by combining the resin with the composition. A reconstituted wood product may be made by combining particulate lignocellulosic material with the foregoing curable resin, and curing the resin. Optionally, a reconstituted wood panel may contain a particulate lignocellulosic material and a binder composition comprising the cured product of curable resin and the aforesaid aqueous reaction product. A concentrate for forming a polymerization enhancing composition is also disclosed.

The anti-reflective coating obtained from the composition has a high preventive effect for reflected light, causes no intermixing with photoresists, has a higher dry etching rate compared with photoresists and can use in lithography process for manufacturing semiconductor device.

摘要： Process for producing a dispersion, wherein dispersed slightly crosslinked polyvinyl seed particles are swollen with an ionizing liquid, said seed particles containing covalently linked ionizable groups causing a swelling of the seed particles by the ionizing liquid to form a dispersion of droplets, wherein the resulting droplets after the swelling have a volume which is at least five times that of the seed particles. Said ionizing liquid may be or contain a polymerizable monomer or be charged with such a monomer. Polymerization of the monomers is effected in the droplets during or after the swelling, to form polymer particles.
