摘要： The invention relates to a process for the production of water-soluble or water-swellable polymers having a low content of residual monomers, particularly on the basis of acrylic acid and/or acrylamide and at least one additional water-soluble comonomer, in which process a monomer solution in a polymerizing state is treated with electromagnetic radiation at the earliest after reaching the maximum temperature of polymerization, and the gel obtained is subsequently crushed and dried, and it also relates to the water-soluble or water-swellable polymers as such, which can be obtained according to said process, to their use in the hygiene industry, packaging industry, in the agrarian technology or in agriculture and horticulture, in the cable industry and information technology, in the food industry, papermaking industry, and to their use as flocculation aids and as drilling fluid in petroleum production.

摘要： An object of the present invention is to provide a practical ophthalmic lens which has an effect of effectively retaining and sustainedly releasing a drug and has form stability before and after release of the drug, wherein the ionic polymer gel having sustained drug releasability can regulate the amount of the drug included therein, depending on the efficacy of the drug used, and storing solution for a practical ophthalmic lens.The present invention relates to a drug delivery ophthalmic lens comprising a cationic group-containing drug in the inside of a copolymer consisting of a hydrophilic monomer having a hydroxyl group in its molecule, at least one member selected from specific phosphate group-containing methacrylates a monomer having a nitrogen atom in its side chain, and a monomer copolymerizable with these components, and also relates to a drug delivery ophthalmic lens comprising an anionic group-containing drug in the inside of a copolymer consisting of a hydrophilic monomer, cationic and anionic monomers, and a monomer copolymerizable with these components, wherein the copolymer contains the anionic monomer in a ratio of 30 to 90 mol % to the cationic monomer, and also relates to storing solution for a practical ophthalmic lens.

摘要： Poly(vinylamine) salts of mineral acids are produced by reacting acetaldehyde and acetamide at a mole ratio of 1:2-4 with acid catalyst, cracking the ethylidene-bis-acetamide which results into vinylacetamide, polymerizing the vinylacetamide with a free radical polymerization catalyst, and hydrolyzing the poly(vinylacetamide) to the desired amine salts by contacting the polyvinylacetamide with an aqueous solution of the corresponding mineral acid. This product may be converted to the free amine, which in turn may function as a precursor in the manufacture of certain polymeric dyes and colorants.

摘要： A process for producing a partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide which has a high molecular weight and high water solubility and can be suitably used as a flocculant for water treatment and a size for paper manufacture comprising polymerizing an aqueous solution of an acrylamide monomer in the presence of an alkali metal hydroxide such as sodium hydroxide and boric acid, whereby a partial hydrolysis of the polymer formed is also conducted substantially simultaneously with the polymerization. In an additional embodiment, a maturing of the polyacrylamide produced can be conducted by continuing to heat the polymer solution to increase the hydrolysis percentage.
