摘要： Described are submersible assemblies including a support structure comprising a pair of flotation devices and a cabin pivotally coupled to the support structure between the pair of flotation devices having an outer enclosure encapsulating an inner cabin, wherein the cabin is configured to rotate between a raised position above a surface of a body of water and a submerged position, wherein at least a portion of the cabin is below the surface of the body of water, and wherein the inner cabin is configured to maintain substantially the same attitude as the support structure when the cabin rotates between the raised position and the submerged position.

摘要： A training device for drilling rescue procedures with crews and passengers in helicopters, aircraft, ships, cars, and the like comprises a cabin that is suspended from a turnable support permitting the cabin to be turned upside-down about a horizontal axis. The device comprises a track, preferably having two rails, that is attached vertically at the edge of a quay, or a ship's side, a raft, or the like adjacent a body of water. A carriage or a sledge is provided that may be driven vertically along the track to a position wherein the carriage and cabin is submerged in the body of water. The turnable support is permanently attached to the sledge or carriage and the cabin is attached to the turnable support in such a manner as to be easily removed, so that the cabin can be replaced by other kinds of cabins in a simple manner.

An access compartment is provided in a crew transfer compartment and the access compartment has an opening which is engaged by a protrusion on a power supply to provide a watertight access compartment. Electrical connectors are provided on said power supply and in said access compartment and a cable connects these connectors thereby providing electrical power to said underwater vehicle. Locking means which are actuatable from the crew transfer compartment are provided for locking said power supply to said underwater vehicle.

A tether drive assembly reels in and out the tether line through a bale which cooperates with a narrow, annular drum to retain the tether line in an annular, cylindrical coil having a width of a single strand of line. The bail, with or without cooperation from additional means, winds and unwinds the tether in the drum.
