摘要： An autonomous deployment system for deploying systems and a method of deploying a seafloor device. The autonomous deployment system includes a release unit, a support frame, a plurality of mats, a hose, a plurality of weighted bands, a gas supply, a waterproof housing, and a timer. The method of deploying a seafloor device includes spooling a plurality of mats in a rolled-up position, each of said plurality of mats comprising a hose, wherein each mat is adjacent to a support frame, submerging the seafloor device in a body of water, releasing the seafloor device from a vessel via a release unit, supplying gas to each hose of the plurality of mats, unfurling each of the plurality of mats from the support frame, sinking the seafloor device to lay on the seafloor. The invention may also include a microbial fuel cell and support weights.

摘要： A foundation structure of an offshore plant, such as a wind turbine, comprising at least one foundation element that can be anchored to the seabed without a gravity foundation and without a floating foundation and a support structure fastened thereto for fixing the offshore plant. The foundation element is a pile that can be inserted into the seabed by means of drilling and/or by means of vibratory driving, can be fixed in the seabed by means of an organic and/or inorganic material, and is oriented at an angle from a vertical on the seabed. A method of installing the foundation structure on a seabed includes first anchoring the coupling element by means of piles inserted into the seabed and then connecting the support structure to the coupling element.

摘要： A construction method for fixing a foundation of a waterborne structure including an offshore platform to a seabed (2) is described. The foundation includes at least one hollow column (108) which incorporates a pile cap (43) at its bottom. In the method, piles (49) are driven into the seabed (2) to a design depth, and the hollow column (108) is then lowered to the seabed (2) so as to surround the pile group and be supported thereby. Concrete is cast into the bottom of the hollow column (108), wherein reinforcement steel bar (45) has been pre-installed to translate the conventional mass concrete plug into a reinforced concrete small pile cap (43) adapted to support the hollow column (108) thereon during construction. The hollow column (108) is de-watered, excessive pile length is cut, and pile cap reinforcement (47) is fixed followed by concrete casting of the pile cap (44). A platform deck is then installed and constructed on top of the now-fixed hollow column (108).

摘要： The present invention provides an approach for drilling offshore arctic wells in areas covered by floating ice. A grounded spray ice drilling structure having an inner drilling platform portion and an outer barrier portion which are contiguous is constructed by withdrawing water from beneath the ice sheet and spraying the water through the air when the air is below the freezing temperature of the water. This causes the water to freeze into spray ice as it passes through the air. The resulting spray ice is deposited on the ice sheet to build up the grounded spray ice drilling structure. The outer barrier portion is built up to a greater freeboard than the inner drilling platform portion, and is adapted to laterally confine the inner drilling platform portion and to protect the inner drilling platform portion from natural ice forces.
