    • People & Cargo Transit Systems & Vehicles (PCTSV), using Narrow Vehicles (NV), which can have the form of a Bus, Train, Tram, Maglev, Mono-Rail, even Car or Truck. A preferred version of which is Single Seat Wide, preferably a Bus type to need no Rail, using Dedicated Narrow Lanes adjacent to Curbside of existing intra-city streets or limits of inter-city roads. NV and Lane have Anti-Roll Over Means to stabilize such a narrow vehicle, which also eliminate NV Swaying even when NV is a Bus or Car with no inherent Sway Limiting. Being Ultra Narrow with No Sway and Running at Curbside results in Negligible or No Blocking of other vehicles by NV. Lane/Tack, Anti-Sway & Anti-Roll Structures all Allow being Run Over by other Traffic and have structures not to be damaged, thus can be crossed over at Crossroads and other entrances and exits along the Lane. NV has enough Doors and is Narrow, hence each Passenger can reach a seat or exit, with No Isle inside it to walk along. So it can have Low Profile, like a Sports Car. Hence it is easy to have Covered Trenches at cross roads for non-stop crossing. Trenches can run along most or all the Track, in which case adherence to streets and roads is relieved. Such Narrow and Shallow Trenches take a tiny fraction of time and costs of Skyways or Subways. Each Passenger thus can have her own door, own seat, in a small Cabin, which can be opened and closed to next Cabin, have reclining seats to join to that of next Cabin to sleep on, have laptop tray, etc. All those make PCTSV much more appealing to user's, even better than private transport. There are many Variations other than above. There is an NV Car for the last mile and or long distance use, which can integrate with NV Public Transit. Also modifications to NVs for use in Cargo and Parcel Transit.

    • An advance train detector for each direction of travel is added to a conventional two-direction, overlap highway crossing protection system. Detection of a train, prior to its occupancy of the primary approach warning section, by an advance detector actuates a test logic means to drive the conventional crossing protection control logic through an operational sequence simulating the passage of a train. The test logic monitors the warning signal outputs from the conventional protection logic during this simulated train passage to assure that a proper, safe warning operation is possible for the approaching train. Failure to detect proper warning signal outputs activates a failure warning indication and inhibits response by the crossing logic to occupancy of the approach warning sections by the train.

    • The present invention relates to the technical field of railroad passenger car, and more particularly relates to a sleeper compartment of a railroad passenger car. The sleeper compartment may be an open type or a private booth type, comprising: sidewalls, partition walls, and two columns of longitudinally arranged sleepers that are parallel with each other; each column of the longitudinally arranged sleepers is formed by no less than two sleepers that are joined together, the sleepers comprise an upper-sleeper layer and a lower-sleeper layer; one partition wall is provided between adjacent sleepers; the length direction of the longitudinally arranged sleepers is consistent with the length direction of the railroad passenger car; the longitudinally arranged sleepers at two sides are fixed to the sidewalls respectively, and a corridor is provided between two adjacent columns of longitudinally arranged sleepers. The weight of the sleeper compartment of a railroad passenger car in this structure is evenly distributed, and passengers have better comfort when traveling.

    • A sleeping berth movable between storage and sleep positions and having hinge means connecting the berth to a compartment wall, releasable latch means including latch levers for engaging within latch keepers, guide means for guiding the berth during movement between positions and means for locking the berth in the sleep position. The guide means comprise a horizontal guide track having closed ends, a guide roller supported for movement within the guide track and a berth support link, the support link having one end portion pinned to the berth and the other end portion connected to the guide roller.
