摘要： A system of transport carts are positioned in side by side relation in fore and aft extending spaced apart rows disposed along a delivery van to leave an aisle between them. The carts have wheel supported upright frames with bottom supports for the products disposed at a level above the floor of the van and open fronts with front decks movable from a stowed retracted position to a generally horizontal operative position adjacent the bottom supports. The decks are movable into generally abutting relation to form a raised false floor between the rows of carts on which hand trucks can travel.

摘要： A mounting arrangement for securing the neck of a compressed gas cylinder to a bulkhead is designed to permit articulation of the cylinder axis relative to the bulkhead without placing undue stress on the cylinder neck. The mounting includes a ball-and-socket-type arrangement in which the bail is provided by a ring formed from a sphere with a cylindricai through-passage, the ring fitting over the cylinder neck, and the socket is provided by a pair of mated flanges with flared inner edges which together contact and capture the spherical curvature of the ring. The flanges are bolted to the bulkhead. An anti-rotation plate is also mounted to the bulkhead over the protruding end of the cylinder neck, permitting the cylinder neck freedom of motion in two orthogonal directions but not rotation.

摘要： A gas cylinder lifting system is useful for loading and unloading heavy tanks of gases onto and off of a welding power supply running gear. The gas cylinder lifting system comprises one or more sliders that are constrained for vertical reciprocation on a frame mounted to the running gear. The slider includes a pan for supporting a gas cylinder. A crank lever is pivotally mounted to the frame by a pivot pin, and a linkage is pivotally connected between the crank lever and the slider. The linkage has a crook in it. Pivoting the crank lever to a first angular position lowers a slider and places the linkage crook remote from the pivot pin. Rotating the crank lever to a second angular position raises the slider and places the linkage crook adjacent the pivot pin. The crank lever and linkage cooperate to place the gas cylinder lifting system in an over-center self-locked condition when the crank lever is in its second angular position. A spring-loaded latch may be installed on the frame that positively maintains the crank lever at its second angular position but that is manually operable to enable the crank lever to rotate to its first angular position.

Guides and bearings are provided between the shelf and body of the vehicle so that the horizontal portion of the shelves will be parallel to the roadway in their lower loading and unloading position to facilitate such loading and unloading, and they will tilt during their travel between such positions so that in the storage position the generally horizontal portion of the shelf will extend downwardly and inwardly to maintain the load on the vehicle with the help of gravity. The frame of the vehicle is provided with a central vertical and longitudinal rib carrying the guides for supporting shelves on each side. The shelves are L-shaped, and are provided with hydraulic cylinders for individually raising and lowering.

摘要： The apparatus of the present invention is designed to provide an apparatus for placement and removal of gas containing tanks in various locations for usage or transport. The apparatus includes a transport carriage assembly with wheels for moving thereof and a generally vertical beam with an angularly positioned reinforcing member for strengthening thereof. A parallel swing brace is pivotally connected to the vertical beam and extends outwardly therefrom. A tank retaining bracket assembly is secured to the outermost end of the parallel swing brace. Holding brackets and a foot plate are secured to the parallel swing braces and define a tank holding zone. A strap secures the tank to the retaining bracket. A drive is connected to the parallel swing brace to power movement thereof in a vertical direction either upwardly or downwardly as needed.
