    • A single-stator-double-rotor rotating motor has one upper-layer rotor, one intermediate-layer armature and one lower-layer rotor. The upper-layer rotor and lower-layer rotor are embedded with the same number of magnets to form a magneto type magnetic pole, stator electrodes of the same number as the number of magnets are disposed on the intermediate-layer armature to form an electro type magnetic pole. A skew symmetry exists between an upper-layer rotor and a corresponding lower-layer rotor, and the upper-layer rotor and the lower-layer rotor are rotated in opposite directions by commutation of the current flowing through exciting coils of the stator electrodes every T/N of time, wherein T is a rotation period of the upper-layer rotor, and N is the number of the magnets.

    • A first rotor (9) is disposed on an inner side of a first stator (7) provided with a plurality of coils (19). A second rotor (15) is disposed on an inner side of a second stator (13) provided with a plurality of coils (21). The first rotor (9) is provided with a plurality of protruding poles made of a magnetic material not magnetized. The second rotor (15) comprises a magnet provided with a plurality of magnetic poles. The number of the poles of the second rotor (15) is different from the protruding poles of the first rotor (9). The coils (19) of the first stator (7) and the coils (21) of the second stator (13) are connected in series to an inverter (27). The microprocessor (27) calculates a first AC current with which the coils (19) of the first stator (7) generate a rotating magnetic field rotating in synchronism with the first rotor (9), and a second AC current with which the coils (21) of the second stator (13) generate a rotating magnetic field rotating in synchronism with the second rotor (15). The microprocessor (27) controls the inverter (29) to supply a composite current of the first and second alternating currents to the coils (19, 21).

    • A DC motor has a housing having an air gap and a stator coil is positioned in the air gap. First and second permanent magnet rotors are coaxially arranged to one another in the housing on opposite sides of the air gap. The first and second permanent magnet rotors are mounted in the housing without being mechanically connected to one another. In another embodiment, a flat stator coil is provided. At least one permanent magnet rotor has an axially magnetized annular rotor magnet, a plastic part as a support for the rotor magnet, a shaft mounted in the plastic part, and a soft magnetic ground element snapped into the plastic part. The rotor magnet is fastened to the soft magnetic ground element. In another embodiment, a housing having first and second cup-shaped housing parts is provided. The first housing part has a first bottom and the second housing part has a second bottom. The first and second bottoms form an air gap therebetween. A flat stator coil is positioned in the air gap. In yet another embodiment, a stator support with an air gap is provided. A stator coil is wound onto the stator support within the air gap and an axle is mounted centrally thereon. First and second permanent magnet rotors are coaxially arranged on opposite sides of the air gap. The first and second permanent magnet rotors are mounted without being mechanically connected to one another.

    • A motor for incorporation in an actuator pivot includes a coil disk, an upper magnet-yoke disk, and a lower magnet-yoke disk. The coil disk is attached to the pivot shaft to form a shaft-coil assembly. The coil disk includes a plurality of coils, each placed orthogonally to the axis of the shaft. Each coil is configured to receive an electrical current in a first direction. A second coil located diametrically opposite to the first coil is configured to receive a second electrical current in a second direction so that the coils generate a torque with a net resultant linear force being substantially equal to zero. The first magnet-yoke disk, for mounting relative to the shaft at a location above the coil disk so that the first magnet-yoke disk rotates with respect to the coil disk, the magnet-yoke ring comprising at least one magnet, aligned in a first direction, and a respective plurality of yokes, each yoke for holding at least one magnet such that magnetic lines of flux are generated parallel to the axis. The second magnet-yoke disk is mounted relative to the shaft at a location below the coil disk so that the second magnet-yoke disk rotates with respect to the coil disk. The second magnet-yoke disk comprising a plurality of magnets, aligned in a direction opposite from the first direction, and a respective plurality of yokes, each yoke for holding a magnet such that magnetic lines of flux are generated parallel to the axis.
