    • A multi-pole generator rotor and a method of making the same are disclosed. A multi-pole generator rotor includes a rotor body having a central portion with a generally cylindrical outer surface. The outer surface includes three pairs of diametrically opposed slots extending along a length of the central portion, with each of the slots being sized to receive therein a plurality of wires. Each of the slots further includes a pair of opposed retaining flanges. A plurality of retaining members are sized for insertion into a corresponding one of the slots. Each retaining member engages a pair of the retaining flanges from its corresponding slot. The retaining members thereby retaining the wires disposed in each slot against radially outward displacement. A method of forming a multi-pole generator rotor includes the steps of providing the above rotor body, winding first, second and third wire coils by repeatedly winding a wire through a first, second, and third set of opposing slot pairs, and inserting a retaining member longitudinally into each of the slots.

    • The motor structure, which has a laminated structure of plural plates 1 and also has a stator pole assembly 10 formed with a component mounting portion, comprises a synthetic resin layer 6 which encloses and covers the plural plates 1 while holding the plates in a closely contacted state, overhang portions (8, 9) integral with the synthetic resin layer 6 and which serve to not only hold but also position motor components, and an insulating film 7′ which covers portions not coated with the synthetic resin. While the synthetic resin layer is formed on the surface of the lamination stack, pressure is applied to the laminated plates as constituents of the stator pole assembly from both upper and lower surfaces of the laminate. This application of pressure is performed using plate pressing projections formed in the mold.

    • The object of the present invention is to provide a rotary electric machine that provides bobbins with good assembling efficiency and allows no dislocation of the stator. A motor 2 comprises a case 4, a stator 6 secured inside the case 4, a rotor 10 formed into one piece with a rotating shaft 8. The stator 6 comprises stator yokes 32 and the stator yokes are secured in a radial manner in the case 4. Furthermore, resin 58 is filled in between the stator 6 and the case 4 with a space for the rotor being left. The stator yokes 32 comprise a salient pole 34, a bobbin 36 for holding the salient pole 34, and a magnetic wire 38 wound around the bobbin 36. A collar 39b of the bobbin 36 is formed so as to contact each other with notches 3 formed on two, upper and lower edge portions. Accordingly, combining two bobbins 36, 36 allows through-holes 5 penetrating the collar 39b thereof. This allows the stator to be firmly assembled, provides good assembling workability, and allows no dislocation owing to resin flowing when the resin is injected.
