    • The present invention provides a switch having a small longitudinal size of movable contacts and reduced size. The switch includes a base, a pair of fixing terminals standing on an upper surface of the base, an insulating wall section integrated with at least one of the fixing terminals, a push button arranged to be upward and downward movable in the axial direction, and a slider movable upward and downward with the push button. The slider has elastic arm sections in both ends thereof, the elastic arm sections being provided with movable contact portions to be brought into sliding contact with the fixing terminals or the insulating wall section while pressing the fixing terminals or the insulating wall section from one side The switch is configured to enable the movable contact portions to connect to and separate from the fixing terminals based on operation of the push button upward and downward.

    • A lever switch includes a case, a lever, a wiring board, a sliding body, and a movable contact.     • A slide switch is provided that is more excellent in reliability than conventional techniques. A slide switch senses an extracted state and an inserted and engaged state of an object. The slide switch includes a body, a slider, a terminal, and an armature. The slider is slidably held in the body and is pushed by insertion of the object to slidingly move. The terminal is provided with a fixed contact point disposed on a surface, facing the slider, of the body along a sliding movement direction. The armature is attached to the slider and is provided with a moving contact point that slides on a fixed contact point disposition surface of the body in association with sliding movement of the slider. In the entire range of the sliding movement, the body and the slider cover all around the fixed contact point and the armature.

    • A pushbutton switch is disclosed which may be used, for example, in a camera. The switch has multiple positions which can be easily sensed by the operator as a point of resistance which is felt at each position. The switch may have an axially moveable spring biased switching rod at a defined electrical potential with an insulated region. A plurality of spring biased electrical contacts bear radially against the switching rod. A plurality of spring biased stops extending radially toward the path of axial movement of the switching rod correspond to the respective electrical contacts. Axial movement of the switching rod brings the contacts into successive contact with the conducting portion of the switching rod. The spring biased stops bear against the end of the switching rod at approximately the points of axial movement at which their corresponding contacts make contact with the conducting portion of the swiching rod, thereby generating a counterpressure which may be sensed by an operator of the switch. The stops may be deflected from the path of axial movement of the switching rod through axial movement of the switching rod, allowing the successive switch positions to be attained.
