    • A mount structure for a mobile unit includes a wall member, a sensor device, and a color film. The wall member is provided to the mobile unit, and the wall member has a through hole and an outer surface. The sensor device is mounted on the wall member via the through hole such that a sensing element of the sensor device is able to perform sensing. The sensor device is coupled to the wall member in a state, where the sensor device has a portion that is generally flush with the outer surface of the wall member, and that is provided inside the through hole. The color film is adhered to an entire surface of the outer surface of the wall member, and the entire surface has an opening of the through hole. The sensor device contacts the color film.

    • A surveillance housing assembly comprises an outer shell having a top wall portion and side wall portion, wherein the side wall portion extends in a downward direction from the top wall portion to thereby define a first cavity. An inner shell comprises a top wall portion for mounting engagement with an underside of the top wall portion of the outer shell within the first cavity. The inner shell further comprises a top wall portion and a side wall portion, wherein the side wall portion extends in a downward direction from the top wall portion to thereby define a second cavity. The side wall portion of the inner shell further comprises a sequence of wall surfaces and plateau surfaces arranged for securing components of the surveillance equipment thereto in a prescribed manner such that first components of the surveillance equipment are disposed inbetween the underside of the outer shell and an outerside of the inner shell, and second components of the surveillance equipment are disposed within the second cavity. Lastly, a window assembly is provided for mounting engagement with a bottom of the side wall portion of the inner shell.

    • A cylindrical high temperature logging tool assembly supended from the shield of a coaxial cable for insertion into the interior of a well bore. To isolate the instruments contained within the interior of the cylindrical assembly from the fluids or steam within the well bore, and to facilitate assembly, the cylindrical oil tool comprises a plurality of axially aligned segments including a grease holding cavity at the end thereof wherein a quantity of non-conducting grease is packed and is compressed therein by the threadable engagement of the sections. Since most greases are generally incompressible, the threaded assembly provides a technique by which the grease pressure level within the housing can be achieved which are greater than the pressure head within the well bore. In this manner an integral structure is provided which can be deployed at various depths within the well bore and which furthermore provides selective arrangement of sections to arrange the requisite instrumentation for well bore logging.

    • A hubodometer having a casing supported solely by, and balanced on, its mounting bracket by a ring-like shock mount. Additionally, an odometer mechanism assembly is carried by, and balanced on, a drive-gear shaft located within the casing on the axis of rotation of the hubodometer. The casing is formed by two joined cup-like shells each having a circular flange integrally formed at a mouth of the shell and lying against the flange of the other shell to define an enclosed cavity. An elastic-like gasket is seated upon the joined flanges, and a rigid retainer ring is seated upon the gasket. The retainer ring is fitted tightly to a circular wall of the mounting bracket to nest the casing at least partially within a socket cavity defined by the mounting bracket. The elongated drive-gear shaft has its shaft extremities anchored to opposite bottoms of each casing shell. The generally balanced mounting of the casing solely on the shock mount, and the generally balanced mounting of the odometer mechanism assembly on a drive shaft that is supported at both ends, provide a durable and reliable hubodometer.
