摘要： An electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielded device which includes an object to be shielded and an EMI shielding material encompassing the object. 摘要： A system clock generation module varies an oscillation frequency and outputs a frequency diffused clock as a system clock. A synchronizing signal measurement module measures a synchronizing signal characteristic value, which includes at least a synchronizing signal period and a synchronizing signal cycle corresponding to an input image signal, relative to a measurement clock generated from the system clock as a reference. An image signal analyzing module determines that specification of the input image signal is changed when the observed synchronizing signal characteristic value is out of a predetermined range, while determining that the specification of the input image signal is unchanged when the observed synchronizing signal characteristic value is in the predetermined range. The image signal analyzing module analyzes the input image signal according to a result of the determination. This arrangement of the present invention ensures stable analysis of the specification of the input image signal.

摘要： A sheet member adapted for attachment to an acoustic or imaging apparatus to improve the acoustic or imaging performance thereof. The sheet member is generally circular, including a plurality of generally W-shaped cut-outs and a like plurality of generally V-shaped cut-outs both formed alternately and equi-angularly in the outer circumference thereof. The sheet member improves the acoustic or imaging performance by reducing the interference caused by electromagnetic radiations emitted from the acoustic or imaging apparatus or their components to which the sheet member is attached. The reduction of such interference can be attained also by forming a compact disc, a laser disc, a magnetic tape, a semiconductor chip, a circuit board, a magnetic or IC card or the like in a manner to have such cut-outs in their outer circumference.

摘要： A double-layered type super-twisted liquid crystal display device including a display cell and a compensating cell in a laminated structure with a spacer interposed therebetween wherein the compensating cell is arranged on the front surface side of the display device. The display cell is arranged on the rear surface side of the display device, and a light source for illuminating the display cell as well as a reflector are arranged on the rear surface side of the display cell. In addition, a transparent electrode is formed over the whole surface of at least one of glass substrates constituting the compensating cell. The transparent electrode is earthed via a clip pin which is held in a clamped state at the outermost end part of the transparent electrode.

The current diverting means can be applied after the application of the electrolytic layer or mass. The fluid layer or covering mass preferably is a salt of an acid and an alkali metal or calcium, for instance sodium or potassium lauryl ether sulphate or calcium lauryl ether sulphate.

The shield is formed from ferromagnetic material of sufficiently high permeability of provide a path of least reluctance for transmitting flux from the external field, thereby preventing such flux from interfering with intended operation of the apparatus.
