摘要： The invention is directed to a movement simulator (1) comprising of a moveable support (2) having three translational degrees of freedom connected to a base (3) by means of three actuators (4), wherein each actuator (4) comprises a rotating shaft (5) having two outer ends (6,7) and comprising two spaced apart cranks (10,11), an electric motor (21) comprising a rotor (22) and a stator (23), a support structure (8,9) comprising bearings (26,27) for the rotating shaft (5). The support structure is connected to the base (3), a pair of links (12,13) connecting the cranks (10,11) of shaft (5) to the moveable support (2). One crank (10) is positioned at one outer end (6) of the shaft (5) and the other crank (11) is positioned at the opposite outer end (7) of the shaft (5). Part of the rotating shaft (5) is the rotor (22) of the electric motor (21).

A flight emulator in the master aircraft allows a user in the master aircraft to “teleport” into a remote slave vehicle in order to observe and/or assume control of the remote slave aircraft. Motion of, orientation of, and/or forces acting on the remote stave vehicle are emulated to the user of the master vehicle through a pilot control interface, a motion-control seat, and a head-mounted display to provide real-time feedback to the user of the master aircraft. Inputs made via the pilot control interface of the flight emulator system in the master aircraft are transferred through the network into the flight control system of the remote slave vehicle to control operation of the remote slave vehicle.

摘要： In a movement system, the movement limit is determined by having a degree of freedom of the movement system defined and the respective current movement system state being available. Subsequently, an articulation trajectory is determined for each upper articulation point of the movement system, on which articulation trajectory the articulation point can move along the degree of freedom. The movement limit is then derived by calculating the point of intersection of the actuator movement in an extreme deflection with its respective articulation trajectory.

摘要： A motion assembly that produces pitch and roll motions includes lower and upper plates. A pivotable coupling having upper and lower shafts extending from its center is coupled between the upper and lower plates. At least two linear actuators are coupled between the plates. Extension and retraction of the actuators pivots the upper plate about the pivotable coupling relative to the lower plate. A vehicle includes two steerable propulsion wheels coupled to a chassis. A lower plate of a pitch and roll assembly, similar to that just described, couples to the chassis via a slew bearing. Seating is coupled to the upper plate. The seating rotates with respect to the chassis via controlled rotation of the slew bearing with reference to the chassis. The seating can be rotated to point in any direction with respect to the chassis regardless of the direction the steerable propulsion wheels move the chassis.
