    • A laser source is installed inside a housing for generating a laser beam. A first lens group is installed inside the housing for diverging the laser beam from the laser source. A reflecting object is installed inside the housing in a rotatable manner for reflecting the laser beam from the first lens group. A second lens group is installed inside the housing for diverging the laser beam from the reflecting object. A framing mask masks the laser beam and displays a laser-framing viewfinder. A third lens group is installed on the housing for focusing the laser beam. A camera lens is installed on the housing for capturing an image framed in the laser-framing viewfinder. When the reflecting object rotates to a first location a laser-framing viewfinder is generated. When the reflecting object rotates to a second location a laser pointer is generated.

The electric charge keeping medium is formed as a liquid crystal display, and the reference zone can be defined as an empty space from which a portion of a liquid crystal of the liquid crystal display has been eliminated. In the alternative, the reference zone can be defined as a plenum space which is filled with a portion of a liquid crystal of the liquid crystal display, and which is arranged such that an electric field is applied to the plenum space so as to exhibit a constant and maximum transparency.

    • An orientation regularizing apparatus for a lens-fitted photo film unit aligns the unit in one line in a conveying direction. The unit is conveyed in an erect position in one of four orientations. The apparatus discriminates the particular unit's orientation. The unit is guided to one of four conveying paths that correspond to the four orientations. In the second path, the unit is turned over to exchange the front and rear surfaces with one another, placing the unit regularly in a first orientation. In the third path, the unit is turned over to exchange the top and bottom surfaces with one another and to exchange the front and rear surfaces with one another, setting the unit regularly in the first orientation. In the fourth path, the unit is turned over to exchange the top and bottom surfaces with one another, setting the unit regularly in the first orientation.
