摘要： A removable rack for supporting a reflector in an oven having a light source where the reflector focuses light emitted from the light source in a predetermined manner. The preferred removable rack is arranged and configured to support a mirror array therein where the entire rack can be removably fixed to the interior of the oven in which it will be used. The rack is preferably arranged and configured to releasably engage the mirror array therein. A method for replacing a reflector disposed in the internal portion of an oven having a light source comprising the steps of providing a removable support rack for releasably supporting the reflector removably fixed to an interior portion of an oven. A reflector can be replaced by removing a member, fixing the removable support rack to the interior portion of the oven and removing the removable support rack from the interior of the oven. The rack and the mirror arrays supported thereon can be removed from the oven collectively by disengaging fixing members fixing the rack to the oven interior. The mirrors can then be removed from the rack by disengaging a support portion of the rack, thereby releasing the mirrors.

摘要： A tunnel kiln useful for burning vertically perforated green bricks, includes a furnace chamber; a plurality of tubular burners for heating the furnace chamber, with the burners defined by longitudinal axes which extend essentially in a vertical direction; and a transport device for so transporting green bricks in raster-like spaced-apart relationship in a travel direction through the furnace chamber that the perforations of the green bricks are oriented in a common direction. Each of the burners has a nozzle body formed with orifices for combustion gases, with the orifices defined by longitudinal axes which extend substantially in a direction of the perforations, wherein the nozzle body is positioned within a spacing between confronting end faces of neighboring green bricks.

摘要： A device (100) for the thermal treatment of friction lining surfaces (19) (scorching) is characterized in that at least one infrared light source is placed in the heating station (10) for heating the friction lining surfaces. Short-wave infrared light of approximately 780 to 1400 nm with a maximum at 1200 nm is preferably used. A suction bell (11) and a fan (12) for removing the decomposition gas are above the heating station (10). The irradiation can take place in depression or in special chemical atmospheres. An infrared thermometer (20) supervises the temperature of the friction lining surfaces (19) and eventually causes an elimination (14) of parts. A cooling station (17) is following the heating station (10).
