摘要： A furnace may include a furnace cabinet, an inducer blower, and a flue vent adapter. The furnace is configured as a multi-poise furnace and configured to be installed and operated in each of the horizontal left flow orientation, the horizontal right flow orientation, the upflow orientation, and the downflow orientation. The flue vent adapter is used when the furnace is installed and operated in the downflow orientation. Alternatively, the flue vent adapter is used when the furnace is installed and operated in each of the horizontal left flow orientation and the horizontal right flow orientation. The flue vent adapter has a unitary construction to reduce manufacturing costs, reduce a pressure drop through the flue vent adapter, and reduce leakage.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to a boiler system that includes an oxyfuel boiler in which a stream of oxygen and a fuel are combusted to generate a stream of flue gas. A flue gas condenser condenses the cleaned flue gas. A flue gas compression unit produces a stream of pressurized carbon dioxide rich flue gas. A pressure control system measures and controls the pressure after the flue gas conditioning system to a predetermined set value. A flow control system measures and controls the flow after the flue gas compression unit to a predetermined set value. The present disclosure further relates to a method of operating such a boiler system for an oxy-fuel process as well as to a power plant comprising such a system.

The catalyst composites have a two-metal layer on a carrier, the two-metal layer comprising a rhodium component supported by a first support comprising a refractory metal oxide component or a first ceria-zirconia composite; a palladium component supported by a second support comprising a second ceria-zirconia composite; one or more of a promoter, stabilizer, or binder; wherein the amount of the total of the first and second ceria-zirconia composites in the two-metal layer is equal to or greater than the amount of the refractory metal oxide component. Methods of making and using the same are also provided.

摘要： A fume hood includes a ventilated chamber having an access opening. A first elongated airfoil assembly is attached to an edge portion of a floor that extends from the opening. A sash is slidably mounted at the access opening and a second elongated airfoil assembly is attached to a lower edge of the sash. The first elongated airfoil assembly includes a plurality of elongated vanes in vertically spaced-apart relationship that define air flow channels. The second airfoil assembly includes a pair of elongated vanes in vertically spaced-apart relationship that define air flow channels that extend into the chamber. A baffle assembly is located in front of a rear wall of the chamber and includes a primary panel having a plurality of vertical air-exit slots adjacent a lower edge, and a buffering panel having a plurality of horizontal air-exit slots adjacent an upper portion.
