摘要： The present technology is generally directed to systems and methods for controlling air distribution in a coke oven. In a particular embodiment, a coke oven air distribution system comprises an oven chamber having an oven floor configured to support a coal bed, a plurality of sidewalls extending upward from the oven floor, and an oven crown covering a top portion of the oven chamber. The air distribution system further includes an air inlet positioned above the oven floor and a distributor proximate to the inlet. The inlet is configured to introduce air into the oven chamber and the distributor is configured to at least one of preheat, redirect, or spread air within the oven chamber.

The Brayton cycle heat engine also includes a heat exchanger positioned at least partially within the combustion chamber. The heat exchanger is configured to deliver thermal energy to the combustion chamber from an external source, heating air entering the combustion chamber from the compressor, where the air exits the combustion chamber and drives the turbine.

摘要： A combustor apparatus is provided, comprising a mixing arrangement for mixing a carbonaceous fuel with enriched oxygen and a working fluid to form a fuel mixture. A combustion chamber is at least partially defined by a porous perimetric transpiration member, at least partially surrounded by a pressure containment member. The combustion chamber has longitudinally spaced apart inlet and outlet portions. The fuel mixture is received by the inlet portion for combustion within the combustion chamber at a combustion temperature to form a combustion product. The combustion chamber directs the combustion product longitudinally toward the outlet portion. The transpiration member is configured to substantially uniformly direct a transpiration substance therethrough toward the combustion chamber, such that the transpiration substance is directed to flow helically about the perimeter and longitudinally between the inlet and outlet portions, for buffering interaction between the combustion product and the transpiration member. Associated systems are also provided.

摘要： A weight sensing device for a microwave oven. The device has a fixing bracket having a bottom wall defined by a depress portion and a pair of protuberance portions which are provided at both ends of the depress portion and vertically ascending therefrom, and a pair of side walls which are integrally formed with side ends of the pair of protuberance portions and upwardly extending therefrom, a printed circuit board rested on the depress portion of the fixing bracket and provided at an upper surface thereof with a fixed electrode plate, an elastically movable electrode plate which is supported on the protuberance portions in a form of a fixed beam such that a predetermined gap is formed between the fixed electrode plate and the elastically movable electrode plate, a motor assembly which is mounted on an upper portion of the fixing bracket and is rotatably supporting a tray in which articles are placed, and a microcomputer determining the weight of articles based on the capacitance value. The motor assembly elastically descends the elastically movable electrode plate in proportional to a weight of articles, thereby varying a capacitance value. The device has a simple construction and can accurately measure the weight of the foodstuffs.
