    • The invention relates to a connection between a steering mechanism and a steering column (1) of a motor vehicle steering system. The connection comprises a steering coupling (2) which connects these two components, is attached by one end (3) to the steering mechanism or to the steering column (1) and, at the other end (4), bears a coupling piece (5) in an articulated manner. The latter forms a connecting partner with the other component (1) in each case and has two clamping jaws (6, 7) which, after the coupling piece (5) has been pivoted around the axis of articulation (8), engage around a section (9) of the other component (1). Furthermore, the connection comprises a clamping screw which is inserted into two openings (19) formed in the clamping jaws (6, 7) and aligned with each other, and is screwed into a thread (20) in such a manner that the section (9) which is engaged around is secured by the clamping jaws (6, 7). In order to make it possible in a simple manner to produce the connection with the connecting partners (1, 5) aligned axially, it is proposed that at least one bolt (14) is arranged on the coupling piece (5) or on its connecting partner (1), to which the coupling piece (5) is connected with clamping action, the bolt engaging, in a connecting position, in a groove (15) of the other connecting partner (1, 5) in each case, the groove (15) having an end section (17) which, with respect to the axial extent of the connecting partner (1, 5) bearing the groove, runs perpendicularly in the vertical direction and in which the bolt (14) has its end position, and that the groove (15) is open in the vertical direction at the end (18) remote from the end position.

    • A crankshaft damper and a method of crankshaft damper assembly using interlocking beads. A crankshaft damper having a hub portion and pulley ring and an elastomeric member disposed in an annular space between them is clamped in a tool after initial assembly. A tool having jaw teeth on oppositely disposed, cooperating jaws engages the crankshaft damper hub portion and pulley ring on either side of the elastomeric member. The tool jaws press on the hub portion and pulley ring to create beads or crimps on the hub portion and the pulley ring. The beads or crimps are formed in cooperating groups or sets. They press the elastomeric member into the form of a curve or wave. The curve or wave mechanically locks the hub portion and pulley ring together, thereby locking the elastomeric member in place between them.

    • A device for adjusting the position of a stroller handle includes two housings each having a first half part, and a second half parts turnably combined with the first half part. The housing each receives a toothed disk, and ahs a control button thereto. The toothed disks have radial teeth, and are each biased to the joint of the half parts by a spring so as to engage the locking teeth of the first half part and the teeth of the second half part at the same time for preventing the second half part from moving relative to the first half part. The second half parts can be turned relative to the first ones when the control buttons are manipulated to make the toothed disks disengage the first half parts, thus allowing the handle to be adjusted.

    • An elastomeric joint (100) that comprises a wing plate (102) including a base plate (104) generally extending along a first axis and generally perpendicular to a second axis is provided.
