摘要： A multi-piece locking fastener assembly including a thickened base layer having a first wider diameter passageway exhibiting a first interiorly threaded orientation and a second narrower diameter passageway exhibiting a second opposite threaded orientation and extending a distance in communication with and beyond a bottom end wall of the first wider passageway. A first bolt fastener has a first arrangement of exterior threads engageable with the wider diameter passageway of the base layer. The first fastener further includes an interior passageway. Following installation of the wider fastener into the base layer, a second narrower diameter bolt fastener having at least a partially threaded stem is threadably inter-engaged with the second passageway in the base layer to prevent loosening of either fastener via their counter-threaded orientations.

摘要： An electromagnetic effect suppressing termination part for a fastener formed of a metallic material, the fastener having a head, a shank, and a male threaded portion opposite the head, has a metallic core coated by a layer of dielectric material. An internal bore of the termination part includes an inner wall, a counterbore hole, and a cavity disposed therebetween. An outer surface includes an outer wall, and a frustoconical wall positioned proximally relative to the outer wall, the frustoconical wall extending radially outwardly from the outer wall and having an included angle of less than approximately 90 degrees. A seal is disposed in the counterbore hole, and the frustoconical wall is configured so that a compressive force applied to the frustoconical wall deforms the inner wall to conform to the male threaded portion of the fastener and deforms the seal to fill the cavity.

摘要： A bearing device is disclosed and can include a bushing. The bushing can include a hollow body that can have an internal diameter, IDHB, and proximal ends and distal ends opposite each other. The bushing can also include a first bushing flange extending radially outwardly from the proximal end of the body and an axial extension extending from the distal end of the hollow body. The axial extension is deformable so as to form a second bushing flange extending radially outwardly from the distal and of the hollow body. 摘要： The present disclosure relates a rivet body, including a rivet head and a rivet shank, composed of a different material than a mandrel used for insertion into a workpiece(s), the mandrel including a mandrel shaft and a mandrel cap. The rivet body receives the mandrel shaft, including the mandrel cap, through the rivet shank. The mandrel shaft is received by the installation tool, which rotates the rivet body, and the mandrel cap locally deforms workpieces(s) through friction riveting to install the rivet body. During the friction riveting, the fast-rotating rivet body is pushed into the workpiece(s) causing local deformation/melting where the mandrel cap contacts the workpiece(s). The mandrel cap creates a cavity which progresses through an upper surface and a lower surface of the workpiece(s).
