Each service connection for admitting sewage includes a suction valve which also admits a volume of air to facilitate movement of sewage in the system. In order to prevent accumulation of sewage during prolonged periods of low usage of the system, such as at night, an auxiliary aeration system is provided for introducing a volume of air independently of the air admitted through operation of the suction valves.

摘要： An oceanic seaplow system comprising a plurality of vessels forming a mini fleet wherein a flexible hose is joined at one end to a suction turbine associated with a mothership and the other end is connected to a suction stud on a seaplow travelling on the ocean bottom. Assistant vessels raise and lower the flexible hose and the seaplow by cables. One of the assistant vessels supplies air to an injector in the flexible hose through a pressure hose at one or more points for second stage acceleration of the dredged material. First stage acceleration takes place inside the seaplow through an electrolysis pump. Electricity for electrolysis and for the steering system is supplied through electric cables from one of the assistant vessels. The seaplow converts the forward motion of the plow by surface contact into rotation of plow elements in order to dig up specimens for elevation by the electrolysis pump located within the seaplow. The material dredged is accelerated through the flexible hose by the air injectors into the suction tubine and to the mothership for processing.

摘要： In a closed discharge chamber wherein a discharge electrode supported on an electric insulating material and an opposite electrode are arranged to confront each other, a high electric potential applied between said electrodes causes corona discharge to occur in the gas between the two electrodes. A method for control of pure fluid elements, fluid servomechanisms, etc. is disclosed which is accomplished by utilizing a phenomenon that the pressure of the gas within the closed discharge chamber increases in consequence of the occurrence of corona discharge and the increased pressure falls with the subsequent extinction of corona discharge back to the level existing before said corona discharge.
