摘要： Sewage is heated to a temperature above 100.degree. C. in two steps. In the first step, sewage is heated to a temperature not greater 100.degree. C. and then conducted into the nozzle of a jet apparatus into which heat-carrier steam is also injected so that the sewage is therein heated to a temperature greater than 100.degree. C., which constitutes the second step of heating. The sewage heated to said temperature is maintained in a continuous flow while being discharged from the jet apparatus, the pressure in the continuous flow corresponding to the steam saturation temperature.

In order to prevent accumulation of sewage during prolonged periods of low usage of the system, such as at night, an auxiliary aeration system is provided for introducing a volume of air independently of the air admitted through operation of the suction valves.

This system is designed so that the recycled flush water must flow by a predetermined volume of soluble sanitizing tablets which resuts in a rather uniform residual of sanitizing agent in the flush water which insures complete coliform kills. The sanitizing tablets consist of buffered hypochlorite materials to which may be added a suitable coloring agent so as to make the flush water more aesthetically pleasing.

摘要： An apparatus for efficiently disposing of combustible organic waste materials, such as organic industrial and household wastes, comprising a macerator and an evaporation unit where liquids are removed from the waste to leave a concentrated organic residue. Evaporation of liquids from the waste is accomplished by heat exchange with a medium heated, in part, by exhaust gases from an internal combustion engine, and in part by incineration of the solid, relatively dry organic residue. The liquids from the evaporation unit are preferably condensed to a suitable liquid form for subsequent use, and the concentrate remaining after liquid evaporation is introduced to a high temperature zone developed in the course of the operation of an internal combustion engine, so that the solid organic residue is incinerated to a relatively small quantity of ash and innocuous gases. Heat for the purpose of partially heating the heat exchange medium used in the evaporation unit is developed in the course of such incineration.
