摘要： An elevated tank broadly comprises an outer wall, a tank ceiling, a tank floor, an internal support structure, and a fluid infrastructure. The outer wall is formed of a number of panels connected together in layers. The tank floor is elevated above the ground and is enclosed within the outer wall. An upper portion of the outer wall, the ceiling, and the tank floor cooperatively form a tank chamber for holding a fluid or other substance. A lower portion of the outer wall forms a lower chamber underneath the tank floor. The elevated tank is constructed by connecting a layer of panels together and jacking or lifting them up, then bolting another layer of panels together underneath the previously connected layer of panels, and continuing building the elevated tank from the top down.

摘要： A water tower can be erected by mounting each of a pair of generally two-dimensional support frames each having an upper portion and a pair of lower ground-engaging feet projecting therefrom for pivoting at the feet about a respective horizontal axis generally at ground level. 摘要： A composite elevated storage tank is constructed utilizing precast concrete panels for a pedestal which supports a steel storage tank. The precast concrete panels are poured in a controlled environment not subject to the difficulties inherent with sitecast concrete construction. A simple and practical method of attaching the panels to each other as well as to the foundation and steel tank ensures the concrete pedestal behaves as a shell to sustain all loads. This method, which uses cast in plates welded together at vertical joints and vertical aligned threaded rods for horizontal joints, serves to reduce the length of time required to construct a composite elevated tank and also reduces the construction costs.

摘要： This invention relates to an elevated liquid storage tank and a method of constructing same. An upright, hollow, cylindrical concrete shaft is constructed having a closed upper end portion forming a tank support floor. An upper, outer ledge is formed around the periphery of the shaft adjacent to the tank support floor; and a central, upright access tube is mounted in the tank support floor. An annular, steel tank wall is fabricated around the base of the shaft and hoisted to the top of the shaft using a plurality of jacks. The tank wall includes a lower annular ring beam and the space between the ring beam and the shaft upper end portion is filled with reinforced concrete to connect and retain the tank in position. Roof plates extend between the access tube and the tank wall to close the storage tank roof.
