    • The present invention provides a modular frameworking system having various apparatuses and methods of attaching same. A framework built according to the present invention includes a plurality of hubs or nodes, each hub including a plurality of pairs of opposing flat faces. Each face can connect to at least one connector. The present invention includes primary “T” shaped connectors that attach directly to the hubs and secondary “L” shaped connectors that attach to the primary connectors and thus the hub. An adapter is provided and connects at one end to a leg of the connector and at the other end to a structural member, e.g., a straight or curved tube, angle or channel. The adapter and structural member are readily removable from the hub and the connector. The connector can be curved and alternatively includes a hinge so that the connector can rotate. The connectors can attach to each face of the hub and can be rotated in multiple directions on any given face of the hub.

    • A staging component mounting system having a suspension assembly coupled to a support surface and including a first fastener element embedded in the support surface, and at least one elongate, strong, suspension segment coupled to an exterior coupling region of the first fastener element. The system further includes a primary truss that is strong, yet fully collapsible so as to facilitate storage and transportability thereof, and is removably coupled to the suspension assembly. The primary truss includes three elongate support members disposed in a spaced apart relation from one another, a brace element removably coupled between adjacent ones of the elongate support members in order to resist increased spacing of the adjacent support members from one another when coupled thereto, while also being structured to be removed from the coupled engagement so as to provide for collapsibility therebetween, and a plurality of removable fasteners structured to removably couple the brace element to the adjacent elongate support members. The system also includes an adjustable mount harness coupled to the suspension assembly and including a plurality of support segments coupled to an article to be mounted, and an adjustment segment variably coupled to each of the support segments so as to permit selective and independent modification of a mount elevation of the support segments and therefore a mount orientation of the article to be mounted.

    • The invention provides load-resisting segments (e.g., panels or frames for openings) for transmitting loads through a building structure. In the context of a wall, the load-resisting segments transmit shear loads downward to structural elements below the wall, such as to a building foundation. The load-resisting segments may comprise a truss configuration, i.e., an assembly of members forming a rigid framework. Each load-resisting segment can include web members and pairs of truss plates secured to sides of the segment to secure connections of the web members to each other and to other members. The wall segments can include beam-separation blocks that reduce truss plate failure by spacing apart the ends of two web members bearing against a chord or post to position the intersection point of the load paths of the web members with the load path of the chord or post.

    • Interconnecting members are provided for building up geodesic dome-like structures. In a first embodiment, there are provided strut members forming the edges of triangles utilized in the geodesic dome structure and gusset members provided at the vertices of the various formed triangles interconnecting with the ends of the strut members. The ends of the strut members and the gusset members are provided with cooperating integrally formed lip and recess portions arranged to be interlocked together, elastic resiliency of portions of the gusset member being provided to both enable the members to lie at an angle to each other and to be held in their interlocked relationship. In a second embodiment, the members making up the structural enclosure comprise triangular sheets of material, the side edges of the various triangular sheets having a series of projections and recessed generally of T-shaped configurations for interlocking with adjacent side edges of other triangular members, there again being provided resiliency in the T-shapes so that the members can lie at angles to each other and be held in their interlocked relationship by the resiliency involved while building up a geodesic dome structure.

    • This invention relates to a mooring structure and method, comprising a triangular template or diaphragm having vertical sleeves at the corners through which tubular legs or piles are driven in telescoping arrangement. The vertical sleeves have diametrical offsets to enable their easy connection to the diaphragm. The sleeves are welded to angularly cut bottom ends of the legs. A prefabricated triangular casting is welded to the interior surfaces of the tops of the legs. Concrete is then poured through a funnel simultaneously into all the legs. One or more diaphragms may be used with each structure at a selected height above or below the water level.
