    • The collapsible shelter has a canopy that can be raised above the upper level of the leg assembly in an extended configuration. A perimeter truss linkage assembly connected to the leg assembly, and two or more central truss pairs of link members are provided, with each of the central truss pairs connected to the inner ends of one of the perimeter truss pairs on a side. At least one vertically oriented central support members for supporting the canopy above the upper level of the leg assembly is provided, and preferably three central support members are provided, including at least one vertically oriented inner central support member, and at least two peripheral central support members. The central support members comprise upper and lower telescoping sections, with the upper telescoping section having an upper end for supporting the canopy. The central support members have an internal stop member in their the lower telescoping section for supporting the upper telescoping section of the central support member, such that when the shelter is in the extended configuration, the lower telescoping section supports the upper telescoping section and raises the upper end of the upper telescoping section above the upper ends of the leg assembly.

    • A novel airplane shelter provides a plurality of arched vertical support members arranged axially along a line corresponding to the fuselage of an airplane to be sheltered. A cantilevered beam is attached to the apex of each arched vertical support member, forming a nullspinenull along the top of the aligned arched support members. The cantilevered beam is attached at one end to the rearwardmost arched support member, and the opposite end extends forwardly past the forwardmost arched support member to a point corresponding to the forwardmost point of an airplane to be sheltered. Separate lateral support members are placed at points corresponding to the wingtips of the airplane. The result is an open frame that defines a volume capable of enclosing an airplane. A covering material is placed over the open frame and stretched taut over the entire structure.

    • A tent which includes a body, a door which is connected to the body by a seam line, a zipper sewn and attached to the body and the door, a slider for opening and closing the zipper and connection equipment for holding an open portion of the door. The zipper includes a holder provided with a pair of through holes for holding the slider when a user opens and closes the door. The connection equipment includes an elastic string and a connection portion which is attached to a position which is connected to the seam line and the zipper. With a holder hole of the zipper slider and the connection portion at the bottom of the tent door integrated into the body of the tent, the door of the tent does not reach to the ground while people go in and out, thus making outdoor life more enjoyable and comfortable by preventing the tent door from getting dirty or damaged.

    • A support device for an associated cover member includes a hub defining a bore adapted to receive a tip of an associated support pole. A shell projects radially outwardly from the hub. The shell defines an outer surface adapted to support an associated cover member. In use, the device is installed on a tip of a support pole so that an end portion of the tip projects through the support device. The projecting end portion of the pole tip is inserted into a grommet or eyelet of a cover to be supported. The pole is positioned so that the cover is supported on the outer surface of the shell. The device can have an overall frusto-conical shape.

    • An apparatus and method is disclosed for providing a collapsible support structure strut comprising, which may include a strut member; a hollow tubular terminal end portion of the strut member having an inner surface; and a detachable looped eyelet having at least one loop and a pair of extending legs, the legs being springedly biased to engage the tubular terminal end of the strut, thereby frictionally holding the looped eyelet in place at the terminal end of the strut. The apparatus and method may also employ a holding plug having at least a portion thereof that is shaped and sized to frictionally engage the inner surface of the tubular terminal end of the strut to frictionally hold the holding plug in engagement with the strut; and first and a second holding groove opposingly placed in the periphery of the holding plug and extending axially of the holding plug and adapted to either jamb a portion of a leg of the detachable looped eyelet against the inner surface of the tubular terminal end of the strut or to frictionally engage the leg of the detachable looped eyelet or to do both, to thereby improve the frictional holding of the eyelet in the tubular terminal end. The tubular terminal end of the strut may also have a pair of opposing holes in the tubular end, each positioned and sized to receive the respective protrusion from a respective leg portion of the detachable looped eyelet. The detachable looped eyelet may also have at least two loops.
