摘要： A press and in particular a garment press and method of making same are provided wherein such press has a support structure, a first member carried by the support structure and is adapted to support a workpiece, a second member carried by the support structure, an actuator for urging the second member toward the first member and against the workpiece to apply a pressing force thereagainst, and guide means operatively connected between the second member and the support structure for guiding the second member toward and away from the first member with the actuator and guide means cooperating to enable the actuator to apply the pressing force while keeping the support structure free of loads caused by the actuator.

摘要： A shirt presser bag with inflatable side bags and yoke which are replaceable. The assembly comprises a noninflatable body bag for placement over a pressing platen, an inflatable yoke removably attached to the top edge of the body bag, and inflatable side bags juxtaposed the side edges of the body bag. The yoke defines an inflatable pocket closed at its ends and open at its center, and an elastic stay extends from end to end in the pocket and maintains the pocket in an opened condition. A substantially rigid stay is connected to each side bag and is connectable to a side edge of the body bag to hold the side bags in abutment with the edges of the body bag.

摘要： This invention comprises a torso 2 for putting on a shirt 1 thereon and press irons 3 to depress the front part and rear part of the torso 2 to press finish the shirt 1. The torso 2 is formed by plates 2a, 2b oppositely arranged at the front part and rear part. The present invention is made such that the steam flowing pipe 4 for use in heating the front side plate 2a is arranged at a position corresponding to the front part 1a of the shirt 1 at the rear side of the front side plate 2a. When the product of the present invention is used, it is possible to finish the front bodice of the shirt having the cloth overlapped portions rapidly and thus it is possible to increase an efficiency of the pressing operation.

摘要： A clothes treating apparatus and method for subjecting clothes items to moisture, pressure and heat for refreshing and dewrinkling the clothes items. A cabinet defines an interior region for receiving clothes, the interior region having opposed inner side surfaces. A door is hingedly connected to the cabinet for closing the interior region. An inflatable hanger for supporting shirt-like clothes items is disposed within the interior region. A blower selectively inflates the inflatable hanger for pressing the shirt-like clothes item against the cabinet inner side surfaces. A steam generation means is provided for introducing moist air into the cabinet for humidifying the clothes item disposed therein. A heater and fan supply heated air into the interior region for drying the shirt-like clothes items disposed therein. During the dewrinkling cycle, steam is introduced into the interior region while the inflatable hanger assembly is periodically inflated. Following the steaming period, the inflatable hanger is inflated while the clothes are subject to warm air such that the clothes wrinkles are pressed out and the clothes are partially dried, setting the clothes in a smooth appearance. Heated air is then delivered into the interior region to completely dry the clothes item.
