摘要： An ironing press suitable for pressing outerwear garments is disclosed. A form-shaped body for carrying an item to be pressed is positioned on a rotatable support table which in turn is mounted on a carriage member movable between a garment mounting station and a pressing station. A plurality of press platens divided into at least two groups are provided. Each group is movable consecutively into pressing position against the shaped body with the individual platen members of each group having no mutual overlap with each other of the garment areas pressed by their ironing surfaces. The groups of platens each overlap in part the area covered by the remaining group so that the entire surface of the article is pressed.

摘要： A garment-pressing device for shirts or blouses employs a buck having shoulder extenders which are movable between a retracted position and one or more extended positions. The shoulder extenders have a soft element that may be made from one or more air bags or chambers, or of a plurality of layers of flexible material, and can be driven pneumatically, mechanically and/or electrically in a stepped or continuous manner. The shoulder extenders are mover simultaneously with buck side air bags. Platen side extenders that operate in conjunction with the shoulder extenders to press shirt shoulders are also provided.

摘要： An ironing machine for ironing sleeves of jackets, overcoats and similar garments, in which two halves of a garment form are carried by an upright support structure, to opposite sides of the latter and symmetrically with respect thereto. A pair of extension members are connected to upper portions of said halves, respectively, each having a downwardly extending portion separated by a cutout from the respective half. A pad is arranged in each cutout movable toward and away from the downwardly extending portion and a plate located outwardly of each downwardly extending portion is movable toward and away therefrom. The halves of the garment form have upper convexly curved surfaces adapted to cooperate with concavely curved surfaces of presser members movable in substantially vertical direction toward and away from the respective half.
