摘要： An aqueous metal cleaning composition is provided which comprises an alkalinity providing agent such as alkali metal carbonate and/or bicarbonate salts and a low foaming surfactant. The aqueous cleaning solution has specific foam height and foam collapse characteristics, and provides for substantially complete phase separation of a contaminant phase from the aqueous cleaning composition such that there is substantially no aqueous phase drag out into the contaminant phase; and the contaminant phase can be removed easily, and the aqueous cleaning solution can be recovered and reused.

摘要： Improved light duty cleaning compositions comprising 15-50% surfactant on product can be formulated such that they comprise, on surfactant: a) 50-70% wt of a mixture of primary alkyl sulphate and alkyl ether sulphate, wherein the average ethoxylation value of the mixture is 0.5-2.5, b) 2-8% wt of a betaine, an amine oxide or a mixture of betaine and amine oxide, and, c) 25-45% wt of an alkylpolyglucoside surfactant. It is believed that compositions which have an excess in surfactant of a mixture of both primary alkyl sulphate and alkyl ether sulphate in a specified ratio, i.e. such that the total EO is 0.5-2.5, together with a lesser, but significant level of APG and a minor amount of betaine, provide an acceptable combination of mildness, cleaning and foaming under a broad range of conditions and show surprising benefit in a bowl-wash situation.

摘要： Ligands which bind to the eck receptor are disclosed. More particularly, polypeptides which bind specifically to the eck receptor (eck receptor binding proteins or EBPs) and DNA sequences encoding said polypeptides are disclosed. Methods of treatment using eck receptor ligands and soluble eck receptor and disclosed, as are pharmaceutical compositions containing same. A rapid and sensitive method for the detection of receptor binding activity in crude samples is provided.
