摘要： A device for producing an edge strip may have a supply unit with at least two openings for separately supplying an edge strip core and a material strip of a casing for the edge strip core. The material strip may be provided with a decorative element, an adapter unit, and a processing unit. The supply unit arranges the edge strip core on a surface side of the material strip which forms the inner face of the casing, and the adapter unit is designed to fold the material strip around the edge strip core. Free ends of the casing protrude from the edge strip core and lie one over the other, and the processing unit connects the free ends lying one over the other together. A method for producing an edge strip using such a device and to a seat cover with an edge strip is also included.

摘要： A pocketed spring comfort layer for a bedding or seating product has pockets characterized by the individual mini coil springs of the comfort layer being pocketed with between at least one cushion assembly and a sheet of polypropylene fabric. Each cushion assembly includes at least one foam layer. A segmented seam joins the cushion assembly and the sheet of polypropylene fabric around each of the mini coil springs of the pocketed spring comfort layer. The method of making the pocketed spring comfort layer includes compressing the mini coil springs and creating pockets with a welding horn and an anvil.

摘要： A mattress having an inverted top panel/border seam, with an optional appended decorative rope welting on the border is described. An inverted seam secures the top panel to the border portion of a mattress cover to eliminate bumps and creases found in conventional welted top seam. Manufacturing costs may be reduced by eliminating the need for an expensive table-mounted tape edge closure machine and/or skilled operators, since the inverted seam may be flay sewn with a conventional sewing machine or even hand-stitched. Alternatively, a conventional tape edge machine can be used with less-skilled labor and or reduced tape/welting material, as all of the stitches and welting are hidden inside the mattress by the inverted seam.

摘要： A fitted, adjustable bed sheet is provided which is adapted for use with either spring or water bed mattresses. A substantially rectangular fabric has a top sleeping panel, four depending side panels with substantially square apertures cut between adjacent perpendicular edges of said side panels, and four fitted corners. Each corner is partially stitched beginning at the top of the open portion of the corner formed by the aperture and extending inwardly towards the top panel to form a dart. When the sheet is positioned on the mattress, the stitched portion of each sheet corner while the lower portion of top portion of the mattress corner while the lower portion of each mattress corner protrudes through the aperture formed between adjacent sheet side panels. The sheet is maintained in position on the mattress by a flap secured to the lower edge of a first side panel adjacent each corner. This flap extends outwardly towards the adjacent second side panel when the flap is folded under the mattress so that the free end of each flap is adapted to overlie a portion of the adjacent second side panel. Adherend strips mounted on opposed faces of the overlying portions of each flap and second side panel removably and adjustably secure the free end of each flap to the respective second side panel. Means are also provided to secure one edge of an overlying top sheet to any side panel of the fitted sheet.
