摘要： An air-operated diaphragm pump assembly for withdrawing small volumes of liquid from a receptacle until the receptacle is almost completely emptied. The pump assembly includes a diaphragm pump that is submerged within the liquid in one receptacle, an extension sleeve extending upwardly from the pump to a position above the receptacle, fluid logic circuitry to operate the pump, inlet conduit(s) passing through the sleeve to transmit control pulses to the pump, and outlet conduit(s) passing through the sleeve to discharge the liquid forced out of the pump in response to the control pulses. The fluid logic circuitry includes a pneumatic Schmitt-Trigger that is operatively associated with a pneumatic inverter. The diaphragm pump includes a pumping diaphragm and a driving diaphragm, the diaphragms being coupled together to drive a displacer within a pumping chamber in response to a pressure differential to thereby expel the liquid contained therein.

摘要： A device for measuring and dispensing liquids is dimensioned to fit through the neck of a container for a liquid; the device may also be used to mix the measured liquid with a measured diluent, if requested. A tube extends from a normal extended position above the neck to a valve unit near the bottom of the container. The tube is formed with a ball on its lower end and is formed with apertures above the ball. A cylindrical valve seat unit is secured to the bottom of the tube and has a flexibly mounted ring which engages the ball in the extended position of the device to form a liquid seal but flexes away from the ball to permit flow of liquid in a single direction - into the tube - under stress imposed by pushing down on the tube. Below the seat unit is an axially flexible apertured second valve unit which seals off a predetermined quantity of liquid when the tube is pushed down and then compresses axially to force a predetermined quantity of the entrapped liquid past the ring and into the tube: Upon release of the tube, liquid is sucked from the container into the valve slot unit. Water or other diluent may be poured in the open end of the tube to mix with the concentrate. The liquid in the tube is poured from the open upper end.

摘要： An adjustable length column pipe for connecting a submersible electric pump in a fuel storage tank with a distribution head that distributes the fuel to dispenser units. Two telescoping column pipes can be telescopically adjusted to the desired length and then locked together by a locking mechanism. An adapter bushing is threaded onto the end of the larger diameter pipe and has a projecting sleeve. A fitting is threaded onto the sleeve and tightened to compress a seal ring which seals the lock assembly to the pipe. Projecting fingers on the fitting are wedged against the smaller telescoping pipe by a nut which is threaded onto the fitting and has a tapered surface to provide progressive wedging action. Electrical wiring for operating the pump is contained within a telescoping conduit assembly which extends inside of the column pipes and is isolated from the fuel passageway by a seal arrangement.
