摘要： The present invention is a strip feed control which is particularly useful in photographic systems such as film and paper cutters, film notchers, and printers. The photographic strip material is fed by a predetermined feed length during each operating cycle. The operator of the system visually monitors the position of the strip with respect to a reference position or indicator along the feed path and provides adjustment signal through an operator control knob. The strip position is moved in accordance with the desired adjustments, and the predetermined feed length for the next operating cycle is derived from the predetermined feed length of the just completed operating cycle, together with any adjustment in the strip position which was made by the operator.

摘要： Plant for steaming and fixing dyes on printed or dyed fabrics, at variable temperatures, comprising a storage chamber wherein the steaming occurs. Within the storage chamber these are provided rod-like means which dispose the fabric in the form of suspended folds and ensure the forward moving of the folds, from inlet towards outlet of the storage chamber. Guide means, defining a closed loop path, allow the rod-like means to take-up the fabric at the inlet and to discharge it at the outlet of the storage chamber, with the axis of the rod-like means remaining horizontal and orthogonal to the direction of movement of the fabric. Before the storage chamber there is provided a preheating chamber for preheating and humidifying the fabric. Heating elements and water atomising nozzles are located within the storage chamber for maintaining its atmosphere at controlled humidity and temperature conditions.

摘要： The disclosure herein relates to reel driving mechanism and particularly to the actual drive arrangement which is intended to increase the life of the various components as to the usual phases thereof by making possible the adjustment of the actual drive wear surfaces with respect to reel end peripheries so that long life is obtained by shifting the wear surfaces to uniformly provide for the wear thereof. The arrangement is best availed of in a reel driving mechanism wherein the reel is lifted into position and by suitable arrangement possibly forcibly engaged with the friction drive surface, thus accentuating wear under some circumstances, but since the wearing surfaces are adjustable with respect to the drive imposed thereupon, such surfaces can be most usefully availed of and the lives extended thereby.

摘要： A reel bar loading device is provided with a pair of lowering arms onto which reel bars are rolled one at a time, the lowering arms being pivotally movable from an upper position adapted to receive a reel bar on a supporting surface thereof and a lower transfer position while a reel bar rolls along the length of the surface into contact with an abutment and is moved downwardly with the lowering arms into position on a reel transfer device in the lower transfer position. The reel lowering arms are preferably provided with a cam stop that moves into stopping position to stop movement of reel bars into a loading position when the lowering arms are not in their upper positions.

摘要： A device for winding and unwinding a tape carrier is intended for automatically engaging and releasing the leader, or loop of the tape carrier, and also for winding and unwinding the same, and, in case the tape carrier forms an endless loop, for bifilar winding and unwinding, with automatic rewinding of the tape carrier directly in the course of information reading. The device is used in cases when various information tape carriers, such as film copies, magnetic films and punched paper tape, are required to be conveyed through the readout unit, making specific steps such as fixing the tape carrier in the reel core and rewinding the tape carrier unnecessary. The device comprises a tape-moving means, a drive means and two reels having cores and rims, the core of at least one of the reels being adapted to open and close depending on the direction of reel rotation, thereby ensuring automatic engagement or release of the leader or the tape carrier loop.

摘要： Apparatus for rolling, measuring and cutting material drawn from a selected one of a series of elongated rolls rotatably mounted horizontally in a rack. The apparatus comprises a frame having an elongated base member, a pair of arms extending forewardly therefrom, means releasably mounting the frame to the display rack, and means for forming a roll between the arms. The roll forming means includes a pair of mandrels rotatably mounted in spaced confronting relation between the arms, means to rotate the mandrels in unison about a common axis, and gripping means on each mandrel for releasably gripping marginal portions of the material. An upwardly-concave roll forming trough assembly is carried by the frame intermediate the mandrels for curling and supporting material rolled by the mandrels. The mandrels are mounted for movement axially relative to one another to enable the roll formed therebetween to be lifted from the roll forming trough assemblies. Means carried by the frame functions to measure the amount of material rolled, and a cutting assembly is provided to sever the material along the base of the frame.
