摘要： A child resistant container which describes: (1) a bottle having a neck, the bottle also having a containment area to store tablets accessible through an opening in the neck; (2) a cap having a skirt, the skirt engageable with the neck; and (3) an access device for allowing attachment of the neck with the skirt of the cap, including: (i) a push button associated with the cap; (ii) an irregularity contained on the inside of the cap; and (iii) an alignment device on the neck, engaged with the irregularity on the cap. When the push button is pushed by the user, the irregularity enters the alignment device such that the cap may be translated parallel to the longitudinal axis of the bottle. The skirt and neck respectively engage one another, so that thereafter the cap may be removed from the bottle.

摘要： A child-resistant, elderly-accessible safety container designed for storage of potentially hazardous materials. The closure includes three major components: a rotatable member secured coaxially around the neck of the container and having at least one biasing member disposed along its upper surface, at least one resilient abutment member, extending outward from the neck and terminating in a tip end, and is capable of being distended or compressed by the biasing member, and a closure member having at least one closure member stop disposed along its inner surface. Turning the rotatable member in a predetermined direction causes the biasing member to contact and compress the abutment member tangentially in relation to the outer surface of the neck. Such compression interrupts contact of the tip end of the abutment member with the closure member stop allowing the closure member to be rotated in the opposite direction and removed from the container. Alternatively, turning the rotatable member in another predetermined direction causes the biasing member to contact and distend the abutment member tangentially in relation to the outer surface of the neck. Such distension reinforces contact of the tip end of the abutment member with the closure member stop and prevents the closure member from being rotated in the opposite direction and removed from the container.

摘要： The present invention is a container closure device, which includes a container, a collar ring and a cap. The container has a neck, an open top and a horizontal retainer track thereon for affixing a collar ring thereto. A collar ring affixed to a track of the container has a plurality of cut outs on a ledge to permit a cap to be inserted and removed from the collar ring. The cap has has a plurality of bosses which correspond to and are sized to freely move through the cut outs of the ledge of the collar ring and, when the cap is so inserted and rotated, of adequate size to cause frictional engagement and to cause simultaneous rotation of the cap and the collar ring and to prevent removal of the cap from the collar ring, except when the cap and the collar ring are held separately and are rotated relative to one another such that the bosses and the cut outs are in alignment for lift up removal of the cap from the collar ring. Corresponding bosses and cut outs have different lengths and depths so that one boss cannot slip through a non matched cut out.

The container closure and locking system, for selectively allowing access to a container having a lip, comprising a container cap having an upper cap and lower cap. The lower cap comprises a main body having a main body bore. Latches mounted within the main body have a tail end, a hook that grips the lip, and a fulcrum between the tail end and hook. The tail end of each latch extends directly below the main body bore. The upper cap is rotatable to an unlocked position. The upper cap has a rotatable disk, having a plunger that can extend downward through the main body bore when the upper cap is in the operable position, to pivot each latch about its fulcrum, freeing its hook from the lip.
