摘要： An apparatus for continuously wrapping sweets or like products in a so-called double twist wrapper, comprising a rotary wheel which moves continuously about a horizontal axis, a plurality of handling devices having oscillating heads mounted to be radially slidable at a uniform spacing on the rotary wheel, with the axis of oscillation of the said oscillating head parallel to the axis of rotation of the rotary wheel, and means having gripper take up elements and hoe-shaped folding elements supported by the said head so as to oscillate about respective axes parallel to the axis of oscillation of the oscillating head and the axis of rotation of the said rotary wheel. The said handling device support wheel has provided coaxially rotatable therewith and on its opposite sides two wheels supporting a corresponding respective plurality of twisting devices in mirror symmetry on the opposite sides of the above-mentioned means having gripper take up elements and folding elements supported by the said head.

摘要： A method of sealing a package containing a food product is provided. The method comprises applying a lid to a non-planar flange surrounding a periphery of the food package. The method comprises supporting at least a portion of the non-planar flange and progressively sealing the lid to the supported portion of the non-planar flange by applying pressure at one or more tangent points against the lid and the flange using a sealing member having a pressure applying surface that rotates about an axis of rotation and one of radially varies relative to the axis of rotation and the axis of rotation reciprocates.

摘要： In a wrapping machine a strip bearing repetitively markings and marks is cut up into sections for individual wrapping of articles such as slabs of chocolate.It is desirable to have available a correction in both directions, which is accurate over a wide margin, to avoid restrictions on the printing of the strip, and to allow continuous forward travel and a high rhythm.Circuits (100-120) validate a mark detection signal (LECTREP) while eliminating interference and irrelevant signals and evaluate the phase shifts between this signal (LECTREP) and a synchronization signal (SYNCHR) depending upon the machine. They establish a correction limited to a certain maximum. The correction acts upon a motor (1) which drives the strip. The maximum is such that the cut section remains usable, which avoids interruption, and leaves an article wrapped in this defective section for later elimination.
