摘要： A portable zero clearance circular saw including a motor frame portion with a transverse oriented drive shaft and arbor coupled to the drive shaft, a handle portion with a hand grip coupled to the motor frame portion aft end, a planar blade deck on a first lateral side, a movable blade shield rotatably mounted coaxial with the drive shaft and having a sidewall with a edge face coplanar with the blade deck, a trigger proximate the hand grip to move the blade shield, and a blade couplable to the drive shaft against the arbor, such that the blade outer surface is flush with the blade deck and blade shield sidewall. The handle portion may be rotatably coupled to the motor frame portion, and may include two laterally disposed blade shield triggers operably coupled to the blade shield via a dual pulley system.

摘要： An attachable and extendable saw and methods for cutting an object on a work surface with the attachable and extendable saw are provided. The extendable saw can include a saw blade housing coupled to a main body by at least one extendable member, the saw blade housing at least partially covers a saw blade and the extendable member can be configured to move the saw blade housing and the saw blade between a retracted position and an extended position relative to the main body. The extendable saw can also include a motorized unit coupled to the saw blade and configured to rotate or provide other blade movement to the saw blade and a switchable device or unit disposed on the main body and having at least one contact surface that facilitates attachment of the extendable saw to the work surface, said contact surface being switchable between a magnetized or vacuum state and a non-magnetized state or non-vacuum state, respectively. Attachment of the saw blade to the attachable and extendable saw is provided for.

摘要： A horizontal sawing machine includes a support unit, a driving unit, and a sawing unit. The support unit has a slide rail base with two oppositely disposed stationary slide rails. The driving unit has a driving motor, a reducing gear box, and two oppositely disposed movable slide rails. The reducing gear box is connected to the driving motor and has an output shaft. The movable slide rails are provided on the outer periphery of the reducing gear box and are respectively engaged with the stationary slide rails to enable forward and backward movement of the driving unit with respect to the support unit. The sawing unit has a saw blade and a saw blade mount connected between the bottom end of the output shaft and the saw blade so that the saw blade is rotatable by and movable forward and backward along with the driving unit to facilitate operation.

摘要： A powered circular saw blade on a vertical shaft is supported on a slide which is slideably mounted on a guideway having feet to enable moving the assembly around on a building sub-floor. The feet are adjustable to enable raising or lowering the guideway base and, thereby, the saw blade. A blade guard is affixed to the guideway base and shaped to admit the saw assembly to an inside corner of a building room. The blade is normally retracted behind the blade guard but can be advanced to position ahead of the guard as the guard is braced against a door jamb or the like and the slide is pushed toward the door jamb to advance the blade into cutting position. Immediately upon release of the advancing force manually applied, a return spring returns the blade to retracted protected position.
