    • A waste recovery station for a beach cleaner for recovering waste raked up by a beach cleaner. A waste recovery station for a beach cleaner includes a pair of station members arranged in parallel with each other through a required spacing. Each station member is provided with a pair of support posts with a foot such as, for example, a circular or square flat plate fixed to a lower end of each support post and is also provided with a guide member fixed to upper ends of the support posts. In the guide member, a longitudinally intermediate portion is formed as a horizontal portion and front and rear end sides are formed as slant portions and are bent downwardly at an obtuse angle. The beach cleaner A is lifted by the guide members while passing between the station members, whereby waste caught on rakes is allowed to drop onto the sand.

The basket is mounted movably with respect to and on the base. The screen retainer has at least a cam surface and a tensioning device. The tensioning device has at least a bearing surface in contact with the cam surface, a spring responsive to the bearing surface, and at least one screen contact surface for engaging the shaker screen when the spring is placed in compression by the exertion of force by the cam surface on the bearing surface.

    • A system is provided for screening or diverting particulate material. The system comprises a plurality of posts which removably and interlockingly support at least one novel reinforcing support frame and at least one novel module for screening or diverting particulate material. Each module comprises either a screening member having an array of sieve apertures of a predetermined size defined therein for allowing particulate material up to the predetermined size to pass through the module or a diverting member or redirecting the flow path of the particulate material. Each reinforcing support frame is interlockably mounted onto the posts, and is readily detachable therefrom. Each module is disposed on the interlocking posts and is mounted onto, and readily detachable from, the reinforcing support frame. Each module is further positioned on the frame such that any particulate material passing through the module passes through the frame.

In one aspect the front plate and the first link are movably mounted together by two plate pinions, one on each side of two spaced-apart sides of the front plate; the second link and bolt stop member are movably mounted together by two swivel pinions, one on each of two spaced-apart sides of the second link; and first link and the second link are movably mounted together by two link pinions one on each of two spaced-apart sides of the links, and these link pinions are positioned so that when the first contact surface and the second contact surface are in abutting contact centers of the link pinions are below a line between centers of the plate pinions and centers of the swivel pinions. Methods have been invented for using such clamp systems and vibratory screen apparatus have been invented with one or more such clamp systems.
