    • A beach cleaner that is simple in configuration and light in weight and can be manufactured at a low cost. The beach cleaner is easy with regard to maintenance and inspection and can efficiently reclaim various kinds of refuse scattered on a beach. A beach cleaner includes a traveling body with ski members disposed at four corner portions of a frame having a substantially quadrangular shape. The beach cleaner is towed along a surface F of sandy soil by a traction vehicle R. A bar-like scraper is provided at a lower portion of a front portion of the traveling body and extends in a widthwise direction of the traveling body through a scraper supporting member for scraping up refuse on the sandy soil while the traveling body is operating. A refuse reclamation section is provided on the traveling body rearwardly of the bar-like scraper for collecting pieces of refuse scraped up and thrown rearwardly by the bar-like scraper onto a net member.

    • A prefetch controller includes a request address register containing an address associated with an access request, an address history table containing a history of accessed addresses, an adder generating a prefetch address, a plurality of subtracters each generating a difference between the address contained in the address history table and the address stored in the request address register, a selector selecting the output of one of the subtracters, and an address controller updating the address history table according to the address difference generated by the subtracter and issuing a prefetch request to cache memory. When a processor accesses data located at a regular interval, the prefetch controller predicts the address the processor is going to access and prefetches data at the address into the cache memory.

    • A solid-state color imaging apparatus including first and second CDs for outputting electric signals in response to incident lights thereon and a prism for separating to green and red, blue lights a light incident thereon which includes optical information corresponding to an object viewed by the solid-state color imaging apparatus. In front of the first and second CCDs are provided first and second color filters whereby the separated green light is introduced through the first color filter into the first CCD and the separated red and blue light is introduced through the second color filter into the second CCD. The first color filter has light-transmission portions all of which transmit the green light from the prism, and the second color filter has red-light transmission portions and red-and-blue-light transmission portions which are successively arranged in horizontal and vertical directions so as to form a pattern comprising horizontal lines and vertical lines. The red-light transmission portions and the red-and-blue-light transmission portions of each of the horizontal lines are alternately arranged successively and the arranging orders thereof on one odd or even horizontal line and the next odd or even horizontal line are different from each other so as to provide a 180.degree. phase difference.

    • An imaging apparatus comprises: a color separation optical system for separating an image ray into blue, green, and red image rays, image sensors, having pixels vertically and horizontally arranged, for receiving the image rays and producing blue, red, and green signals wherein at least one of image sensors for blue and red signals has a vertical relative offset against the image sensor for green signal to have a relative interlace relation with the image sensor for blue or red color signal, to produce a screen to be produced, having a higher resolution than these image sensors. A vertical high frequency component is operated from the blue and red signals and is added to the green color signal to produce a second green signal indicative of is a green luminance value at a position corresponding to each pixel of the image sensors for blue and red color signals to increase the vertical resolution of the screen. A fourth image sensor for green and a separation optical system for the fourth image sensor may be provided to increase a horizontal resolution by arranging the fourth image sensor to have a horizontal offset to have a second relative interlace relation with the image sensor for green. The image sensor for blue and red may have a vertical offset to eliminate the necessity of a field memory to operate the vertical high frequency component.
