摘要： Provided are a manned pole-climbing work platform and a pole-gripping mechanism thereof. The pole-gripping mechanism includes an arm and a distal pole-gripping mechanical hand. The distal pole-gripping mechanical hand includes a front jaw, a rear jaw, a forward-threaded rod, a reverse-threaded rod and a preloader. The front jaw and the rear jaw are articulated with the arm through pivots. The preloader is configured to drive the forward-threaded rod and the reverse-threaded rod to rotate synchronously. The forward-threaded rod and the front jaw are articulated with each other through a front thrust-nut composite pivot. The reverse-threaded rod and the rear jaw are articulated with each other through a rear thrust-nut composite pivot. The front jaw and the rear jaw are openable or closeable relative to each other.

摘要： A climbing apparatus includes a mast having a plurality of mast segments operable to vertically stack one after another. Each segment includes a stand-off to abut against a climbing object and form a space for receiving a strap to secure the mast to the climbing object. The apparatus includes a platform assembly having a (i) a platform, (ii) a seat spaced apart from the platform, and (iii) a frame connecting the seat to the platform. An upper trolley is provided for independent mobility up and down along the mast. The upper trolley includes a first brake connected to a handle operable to actuate movement of the trolley. 摘要： A harness with continuous lineman's loop includes a saddle having an upper strap and a lower strap. The saddle has a front side, a back side, a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge wherein the first and second lateral edges are used to engage a bridge line such that the bridge line can be secured to a tree. A pair of lineman's loops is attached to the saddle and used to engage a lineman's rope. Each of the lineman's loops is positioned adjacent to one of the first and second lateral edges. The lineman's loops are comprised of a continuous loop of webbing including an upper portion is attached to the upper strap and a lower portion is attached to the lower strap. The lineman's loops are formed of lateral portions of the continuous loop extending between the upper and lower portions.

摘要： A connecting and anchoring device. A cable element terminates at opposite ends in respective gate and spine cable termination structures. A gate housing houses a gating portion of the cable element and includes a locking element. The device has a first configuration in which the termination structures are locked together and a second configuration in which the termination structures can be separated from one another by manipulating the locking element. The device in at least the first configuration defines a closed aperture. A spine housing houses a spinal portion of the cable element. The spine housing is attached to the base and the gate housing is pivotally connected to the base so that the gate housing can pivot relative to the spine housing so as to change the configuration of the connecting and anchoring device between the second configuration and a third configuration in which the aperture is open. The cable element includes a cable that extends uninterrupted from the spine housing, through the base, and into the gate housing.

The strap includes opposite first and second ends folded so as to define first and second loops separated by a central part to which the first and second ends are secured, each loop being configured to allow a connector to pass. 摘要： A hoist for elevating a hunter's tree stand from the ground to a vertical position alongside of the trunk of a tree comprises a segmented, extendable and contractible pole having a tree clamping ring assembly pivotally mounted to the top section of the pole and a V-shaped jaw for engaging the tree trunk near the bottom of the pole. A first rope is tied at one end to the clamping ring assembly and extends down to a retractable reel located near the bottom of the pole. By pulling on this rope, the clamping ring assembly can be pivoted to an angle allowing the ring to pass about the tree trunk and when released, the clamping ring assembly pivots downward under the force of gravity which secures the pole to the tree at its upper end. The clamping ring assembly further includes a pulley, about which a second rope is deployed. One end of the second rope is adapted to be connected to the hunter's tree stand at its upper end and the other end can be pulled on to elevate the tree stand.
