摘要： Techniques are described for monitoring and controlling fall protection equipment. For example, the techniques of this disclosure may be used to monitor the connection status of fall protection equipment, e.g., whether or not the fall protection equipment is connected to a support structure. The techniques described in the disclosure may determine whether the fall protection equipment is connected to a support structure based on changes in a resonant frequency of an electronic circuit of an inductive sensor within the fall protection equipment. The inductive sensor may be formed from sets of one or more coils, where a first set of one or more coils and a second set of one or more coils are wound in opposite directions.

摘要： A connector includes a first ring with a blocker collaborating with a rod. The rod is movable between a first position where the first ring is closed and a second position where the first ring is open. The blocker is movable between a first position collaborating with the rod to keep the first ring closed and a second position allowing opening of the first ring. A second ring includes a probe. The probe is connected to the blocker. When the distance between the probe and the sliding area is greater than a threshold value, the probe prevents opening of the first ring by the blocker. When the distance between the probe and the sliding area is smaller than the threshold value, the probe allows opening of the first ring by the blocker.

摘要： An anti-torque safety hook includes a main body, a gate member, and a detent member. The main body has a hook opening passing through the front and back sides thereof, a passage communicating to the right side of the hook opening, a female buckle arranged on the passage, a connection unit arranged below the hook opening, and an energy absorption area arranged on the left side of the hook opening. The gate member has a first end mounted on the main body and a second end comprising a male buckle, adapted for detachably coupled with the female buckle, so as to allow the gate member to open and close the passage. The detent member is coupled on the main body and maintained at a first position, so as for ensuring that the gate member closes the passage, while when the detent member is operated and switched to a second position, the safety is disarmed. The present invention mainly utilizes the detent member to ensure the gate member to close the passage. When the main body bears the designated torque, the energy absorption area allows the main body to distort in response while the gate member may still close the passage, so as to prevent the risk of decoupling and in order to meet the standard of ANSI/ASSP Z359.12-2019.

摘要： A locking carabiner system and methods comprising a frame, gates and a gate biasing apparatus that includes a wire formed gate pivotably attached to the carabiner frame which can be rotated between two positions with movement from either position to the other position opposed by a biasing force, such force undergoing a change in the direction of bias as the gate is pivoted from one position to the other position resulting in two separate and distinct stable gate positions. Among other uses, such a gate can form a locking mechanism when in a first position it obstructs other gates from operating until it is rotated to the second position. The inventive locking mechanism can be incorporated into carabiners and other attachment devices to prevent the accidental opening of gates and to ensure that attached ropes, keys and other articles remain secured.
