    • A liquor-icing vessel includes an outer vessel and an inner vessel combined together. The outer vessel has a hollow interior and a narrow opening formed in an upper end, and the inner vessel has a flange around the opening and an annular groove formed between the flange and the wall of the opening for the wall of the opening of the outer vessel to fit therein from under when the inner vessel is deposited in the hollow interior of the outer vessel half filled with ice cubes.     • A wide-mouthed beverage container in the shape of a cup, mug, glass, carafe, flute, bottle, can, or other form, in a variety of sizes, with a resealable cap or closure. This container may be recycleable, reusable, or disposable. The purpose of this invention is to provide a superior alternative to the traditional shapes of the openings of cold beverage containers. This cup-shaped container provides a large and open mouth as found in an ordinary household cup, glass, or mug, but can be purchased ready-to-drink with a beverage, and is either reusable or purchased for single-use, as desired by the consumer. Further, said beverage container may also incorporate a snack atop the beverage container. The wide-mouthed shape of said beverage container is particularly conducive to packaging with a snack food. This food and beverage item would be primarily for single-time use and therefore would be disposable or recyclable, although the cup could be reused.     • A heat insulating container and its manufacturing method is provided. The heat insulating container comprises an inner container and an outer glass container, in which the breakage of the glass containers can be prevented even if a minute flaw is formed on either of the glass containers. The insulating container possesses a superior radiant heat insulating capability. The inner glass container is housed in the outer glass container with a gap in between, which air-gap functions as a heat insulating layer. A radiant heat preventive film containing metal oxide is provided at least either on the outer surface of the inner glass container or on the inner surface of the outer glass container with an intermediate film containing SiO2 in between.

    • A temperature moderating beverage container includes a cup and an insert, the cup having at least one wall. The insert seals against the cup wall and has a main chamber. An exterior wall of the insert together with the wall of the cup defines a temperature moderating chamber in fluid communication with the main chamber. A lid forms an airtight valve seal over the main chamber. The selective admission of air through the airtight valve seal urges a liquid within the main chamber into the temperature moderating chamber. The temperature moderating chamber and the main body are alternately formed within an insert having a vertical partition extending to the lip of the insert. A cap is designed to seat against the lip and with an intermediate gasket afford an airtight seal over the main chamber.

    • Various aspects of the invention provide user-customizable labels on containers. In one particular example, a label is affixed to an exterior surface of a beverage container. The label comprises a base and a customizable field, with a removable opaque layer of material on the customizable field covering at least a portion of the underlying base. In another example, a user may uniquely identify a container by selectively removing portions of such a removable opaque layer to reveal an underlying second layer of material. The selectively removed portions can thus define a user-created indicium that uniquely identifies the container as the user's own.

    • An improved inflatable cooler including one or more sidewalls formed from a flexible plastic membrane having inflatable air chambers formed therein. In addition, the inflatable cooler preferably includes an inflatable lid (formed from a flexible plastic membrane having inflatable air chambers therein) and bottom wall that are integral to one or more of the sidewalls, thereby forming a one-piece construction. Such one-piece construction prevents loss of the lid and bottom wall. The air chambers of the sidewall(s) and lid act as a thermal insulating barrier for the contents of the inflatable cooler (e.g., ice or ice packs or other cooling mechanism along with food and/or drink). In addition, the inflatable cooler includes a flexible plastic membrane that is removably disposed onto the exterior surface of one or more of the sidewalls. The removable plastic membrane, when disposed onto the exterior surface of one or more of the sidewalls, forms an exterior surface of the cooler suitable for printing graphics, text, logos or other information thereon (for example via silk screening or vinyl graphic printing). Such information may be print advertising, promotional advertising or other mass merchandising and marketing information. In addition, the flexible plastic membrane is preferably shaped such that it surrounds the sidewall(s) of the cooler and provides support for stress normal to the sidewall(s). In addition, the surrounding flexible plastic membrane provides added protection to the inflatable cooler (for example, protection for piercing by foreign objects). In another aspect of the present invention, an improved inflatable cooler has a wide base design wherein the base of one or more sidewalls (formed from a flexible plastic membrane having inflatable air chambers formed therein) has a larger dimension than the top opening. Such wide base design provides added stability and improved load-bearing capabilities.
