摘要： Shovels and trowels are formed from metal and plastic for enhanced soil and sand penetration, and for cutting into roots. The shovels and trowels can each have one or more narrow tip teeth edges extending outward from the front end of the blade, the teeth edges each having embossed surface portions for strengthening the blade and disbursing stress during digging applications. The embossed portions can be indented. The embossed portions can be raised. A shovel version can also have foot brakes on both side of the handle above the rear end of the blade, to allow for a stable and safe foot placement.

摘要： A debris removal tool having a pair of opposing pivoting blades each having a shape providing light weight and inexpensive manufacture. The blade is a continuous, smooth curve from a straight lower edge to an arcuate, generally semi-circular, upper edge. The outer corners of the upper edges of opposing, complementary blades are pivotally connected to define a pivot axis therebetween. When the blades close, their straight sides and straight lower edge mate, to form a closed bottom, somewhat upright cone shape with a straight bottom edge fully enclosing the debris. The lower edge of each blade is parallel to the pivot axis and may include serrations to enhance grasping of debris. Reinforcing gussets and handle retaining bosses may be provided in the blade to retain the handles and maintain tool rigidity while remaining light in weight.

摘要： A set of firefighting tools for use in fighting forest fires and the like in different types of terrain and vegetation. A brightly colored elongate handle of fiber-reinforced synthetic material is equipped with a releasably latching connector, and several different tool heads are attachable to the handle to perform various functions. One head has a pivotably attached shovel blade and is useful as a shovel, as a scraper or as a rake. Also associated with this head is a selectively foldable mixing spoon which may be extended opposite the shovel blade. Another tool head has oppositely directed axe and grub hoe blades and is useful as an axe, a brush hook, or a grub hoe. Yet a further tool head has several flexible straps for beating out fires. An extension member of metal pipe is provided to make the handle useful as a staff when traveling on steep and rough terrain. A backpack includes separate pockets for carrying each of the tool heads individually, as well as other pockets for carrying other items needed by a firefighter walking to the locality of a forest fire or the like.

摘要： A multi-functional folding shovel for assisting a user to regain traction under vehicle wheels includes a bifurcated body having a centrally registered longitudinal axis extended along an entire length thereof. Such a bifurcated body includes a proximal end and a distal end opposed therefrom. A coupling is intermediately disposed between the proximal end and the distal end wherein the coupling has a fulcrum axis registered orthogonal to the centrally registered longitudinal axis. Advantageously, a refillable reservoir is extended from the proximal end and affixed to the coupling. In this manner refillable reservoir is adapted to receive and discharge an existing friction-inducing agent therefrom. An implement having an adjustable shape is affixed to the coupling and extended to the distal end wherein the implement is selectively articulated about the fulcrum axis relative to the refillable reservoir.
