摘要： A sheet feeding device of the present invention includes a cutter capable of being moved back and forth by hand between two reference positions outside of a sheet conveyance range. When the cutter is held in a halt at a position other than the reference positions, the sheet feeding device returns a sheet toward the upstream side by a preselected amount and then returns the cutter to one of the reference positions. Even when the cutter moved by hand for the replacement or the replenishment of a sheet is left in the sheet conveyance range, the cutter is prevented from again cutting the leading edge of the sheet when returning to the reference position. This protects the leading edge of the sheet from defective cutting.

摘要： A tow carriage used for drawing structural steel members, such as I-beams or angles, through a punch press automatically positions its pieces accurately at the successive positions for punching. The positions are determined by gauge bars positioned along the path of the two carriage, and successively engaged by a gauge arm on the carriage. The machine is automatically cycled to pull its steel members at full speed until a sensor on the carriage detects the approach to a gauge position, then at slow speed until the gauge bar has been passed, then at slow speed reverse until a gauge face on the gauge arm, which drops to gauging level upon passing the gauge bar, firmly engages the gauge face of the bar without wear. The reverse driving force is reduced to a holding value, and the punch operates. Then the full speed forward drive of the carriage starts a new cycle. This is repeated until the punching has been completed at the last gauge bar. The successive steps of cycling are mostly triggered by limit switches.

摘要： The present invention provides for a method and apparatus of horizontally stacking a stator core. A central rail structure 34 that runs down approximately the center axis of the stator frame 2, and attached to the central rail structure are adjustable supports 40 that hold the central rail structure within the stator frame. A dolly 36 is positioned on top of the central rail structure 34. The dolly 36 has multiple finger supports 38 disposed on its top and the finger supports match corresponding grooves in stator core laminations 10. Lamination are placed onto the dolly, gaps in the lamination engage the finger supports on the upper inner diameter of the lamination. This allows for the lamination to be horizontally moved into place within the stator frame.
