摘要： A gas cylinder with internal time delay which is entirely self contained within the cylinder. A valve pin that controls communication between the two sides of the piston through one or more a one-way valves in the piston. As each piston is moved by a die into the cylinder body, it exposes a portion of reduced cross section on a valve pin and gas flows through a one way valve such that the effective area of the piston is reduced. When the die moves away from the workpiece, a time delay occurs and the piston is delayed until the piston moves upwardly and closes communication between the sides of the piston.

摘要： A vibration finishing method and apparatus in which the surface roughness and form of a hole in a compound material such as a printed board can be made excellent and the working accuracy of the hole can be significantly improved and the working cost of the hole can be lowered. In the punch pressing device, a compound material is fixed to a lower metal mold having a lower die hole into which a punching tool can be inserted. While the compound material is held between the lower metal mold and a pressing plate and pressed by pressing members provided with the pressing plate having an upper die hole into which the punching tool can be inserted, a minute-vibration of frequency of several ten hertz is applied onto the punching tool and then, the compound material is punched out. After that, the punching tool is temporarily drawn from the hole to be worked in the compound material. The punching tool is re-inserted into the worked hole in the compound material while a non-vibration or the minute vibration of frequency of several ten hertz is applied again onto the punching tool.

A circuit board has holes formed by the punches and is clamped by the clamp to the die. The punch assembly and the clamp are independently controlled by actuators with a convex distortion of the punch assembly and clamp during punching to provide an improved clamping and punching action.

摘要： In apparatus for the placement and alignment of punch knives mounted in a knife holder on a punch press, a first swivel arm is pivotally supported at one end on a support for pivotal movement about a vertical axis. A second swivel arm is supported on the other end of the first swivel arm. The second swivel arm is a double-armed parallelogram member pivotally movable about a vertical axis and about horizontal axes at each of the opposite ends. A knife holder is pivotally connected to the parallelogram member at the opposite end from the first swivel arm. Due to the pivotal support of the two swivel arms and the pivotal connection of the knife holder, the knife holder can be moved along horizontal and vertical coordinates. A return member is associated with the second swivel arm for returning it into the horizontal position after the completion of a punching operation.

The cams actuate corresponding followers in the form of hydraulic pistons which operate together to hydraulically displace an ejector member during upward movement of the slide following a metalworking operation. The cam contours enable timing the ejector pin displacement with the press slide stroke so as to achieve optimum acceleration and deceleration of the stroke of the ejector pin.
