    • There is provided a button-operated lock device capable of increasing a setting amount of information in response to operation of a control button, obtaining a large setting amount and a wide-range of selection thereof, enhancing safety performance, simplifying the structure and achieving a small size and a light-weight, thereby achieving a low manufacturing cost, executing such various operations as setting or inputting information and altering thereof correctly, safely, easily and rationally, and preventing decoding or perceiving of preset or inputted information so that any third party is prevented from making a falsification and/or conversion of this device.The button-operated lock comprises a plurality of control buttons (10) axially displacedly arranged and capable of setting or inputting a predetermined information; a control plate (128) for allowing an unlocking procedure at the time of setting or imputing the predetermined information; a driving cam (16) linked to the control plate (128) and capable of being operatively connected to a pair of door handles (4, 5); and a lock element linked to the driving cam (16), wherein a plurality of same or different information can be set or inputted to each of the control buttons (10) and the plurality of same or different information can be set or inputted every time the control button (10) is operated.

    • This electronic combination lock is operated by depressing the proper combination of pushbuttons mounted on the faceplate of a circular handle, then rotating the handle to open the bolt. The pushbuttons are held outwardly by radially extending spring wires within the handle that also provide electrical connection, when a pushbutton is depressed, to inclined contacts mounted to the rear of the faceplate. Electrical leads extend through a hollow shaft connected to the handle.The bolt is restrained in the locked position by a magnetically actuated locking pin which projects into a bore in the bolt. The shaft is connected to the bolt by a spring. When the proper pushbuttons are selected, electrical circuitry disclosed herein actuates the magnet, removing the pin and permitting the bolt to be opened by handle rotation. If the wrong combination is depressed, an alarm signal is produced, the magnet is not actuated, and rotation of the handle expands the spring without moving the bolt.

    • A push button combination lock type gas cap and an actuator forming a part thereof, takes the form of a casing which may be mounted to an open end of a fuel tank filling neck with a stopper mounted within the casing for movement between a first position in which the cap is removable from the filler neck, and a second position where the cap is locked thereto. A first center push button mounted on the casing for movement in the direction of its axis between projected and depressed position, shifts the stopper to the first position for locking the cap to the filler tube upon depression thereof. The first push button is maintained in depressed position with a laterally shiftable slide plate operatively engaging the first push button for normally preventing retraction of the first push button absent a selective depression of one or more of a plurality of second push buttons mounted circumferentially about the center push button. The second push buttons are also normally held in depressed position, unless further depressed and released. Spline engagement between the push buttons and casing bores alternatively lock the depressible push buttons in initial depressed position and subsequent projected position. Rotatable pods beneath the depressible push button, engage lock pins having side recesses which when aligned with holes within the slide plate receiving the lock pins permit lateral shifting of the slide plate to release the first push button.
