摘要： A fastening device and a method of using same is provided. The fastening device includes a male member having a projection on a first side and a securing means on a second opposing side. A female member configured to receive the projection detachably secures the female member onto the male member. The female member and the male member comprises a ratchet system to removeably secure the female member onto the male member. The securing means on the second opposing side of the male member is configured to mate with a corresponding securing member mounted on an object. By securing a material such as a shade screen or a tarp on the male member by mating the male member with the female member, the shade screen or tarp may be detachably fastened onto an object.

摘要： An eye glass holder is provided which is attachable to an article of fabric, for supporting and securing a pair of eye glasses. The eye glass holder comprises a pin assembly engageable to the fabric. The pin assembly includes a substantially planar member having an outer eye glass frame striking surface and an inner fabric abutting surface. The pin assembly further includes a ring member extending from the outer striking surface and defining an eye glass frame receiving aperture therebetween. The pin assembly further includes a pin extending normally form the inner fabric abutting surface, through the abutting fabric. A clutch assembly is provided which is engageable to the pin. The clutch assembly includes a clutch for receiving and engaging the pin, and the clutch facing secured to the clutch and extending circumferentially thereabout.

An S-shaped wire clasp is detachably affixed to the backplate by means of a snap attachment made up of ramp elements and protrusions positioned in paired arrangement about an opening in the backplate and a bridge element traversing the opening. The S-shaped body of the clasp is received by the supports of the bridge when the ends of the clasp body are passed over the ramp elements and into position between the protrusion and ramp of each of the pairs thereof.

摘要： A lock fastening device comprises a pivotally mountable fastening rod or member and a retaining mechanism including a slot for receiving a length of the fastening member, one or more magnetically engageable locking tabs, and compressible elastic means for projecting the locking tabs into the receiving slot for preventing the removal of the fastening member. In a preferred arrangement, the tabs include cam surfaces so that they are forced out of the receiving slot as the fastening member is forced toward the locking position. When the rod reaches the locking position, it no longer contacts the tabs and the tabs spring back into the slot, locking the rod in position. The rod can be removed by a suitable arrangement of magnets for retracting the locking tabs from the slot. In addition, the bottom layer of the slot can include a layer of compressible elastic material for springing the rod from the locking position when the locking tabs are retracted.
