摘要： A blade guard is adapted to be used with a label stripping machine. The blade guard includes a plurality of recesses spaced along a length of an appropriate material. The bottom surface of each recess is angled to coincide with the optimal angle of the cutting blades of the label stripping machine which allows each blade to be precisely oriented for optimal performance of the label stripping machine. When the blades are retracted, the close fit of each recess relative to the blade, serves to clean the blade of any debris that may have been generated during the delabeling operation.

The carrying seat is provided with two longitudinal holes for fastening the carrying seat over the cutter of the adhesive tape dispenser by bolts which are received in the longitudinal holes. The carrying seat is provided in one side with two upright plates which are provided with two locating holes. The cover is pivoted with the carrying seat and is provided in one side with an arcuate tongue and a curved guard extending therefrom at an angle. The cover is provided in other side with two recesses and a flat portion which is provided in two ends thereof with a projection. The projection is retained in the locating hole of the carrying seat.

The machine comprises means for mounting a roll of aluminum foil so that aluminum foil can be advanced through the machine. Two adjacent rollers can be electrically driven to advance aluminum foil by frictional force from the roll. The machine further comprises a knife mechanism for cutting off a sheet of aluminum foil after it has passed between the rollers and means for folding an edge of a cut sheet produced by the knife mechanism. A control unit for controlling the knife mechanism ensures that the aluminum foil is cut only during predetermined intervals.
