摘要： A break-away hook assembly is adapted for installation for use with a low-voltage residential communication cable. A pair of members is coupled. One of the members has a connector with a terminal portion which receives a terminus of the other member. The connector breaks to release the second member from coupled engagement with the first member so that upon application of a stress in excess of a pre-established load, the cable will sag while maintaining the communication integrity of the cable.

摘要： A building assembly utilized in connecting building members together while permitting limited relative movement between the members. The assembly includes a structure such as a track or plate that includes one or more longitudinal slots. Integrally formed in the longitudinal slot is a breakaway washer that receives a fastener that extends into an adjacent structure. When a certain force is applied to the breakaway washer, the breakaway washer breaks away from the slot and this permits the slot to move about the breakaway washer and fastener which results in there being relative movement between two connected structures.

摘要： A bundling device includes a molding of a polymeric material. A flexible strap includes multiple teeth each including a notch. The strap is frangible at the notch of any one of the teeth. A strap engagement portion connected to the strap includes first and second flexible wings defining a strap receiving aperture therebetween receiving the flexible strap in a first direction. The flexible wings engage successive ones of the teeth to oppose removal of the strap in an opposite second direction. The first and second flexible wings each include a first arm having a first raised portion extending into the strap receiving portion; and a second arm having a second raised portion axially displaced with respect to the first raised portion and oriented out of plane with respect to the first raised portion.

The blank has a first side portion and a second side portion, which can be bent to create the side members. The blank also has a third side portion created within either the first side portion or the second side portion which can be bent outwardly relative to the first side portion and the second side portion to attach to perpendicular faces of a corner stud support. In addition, the blank has a ledge portion for supporting a load when the blank is converted into a corner shelf bracket and a lip portion which can be bent to form a retaining member. The blank also has a plurality of stiffener portions which can be bent to create added stability when the blank is converted into the corner shelf bracket and attached to the corner stud support. The side portions, lip portion, stiffener portions and the ledge portion of the blank are all connected to the blank by a plurality of stress lines to facilitate bending of the blank into the corner shelf bracket. Connected to each of the stiffener portions are connector portions which connect to the corner stud support for added strength when the blank is converted into a shelf bracket. The blank also contains one or more ribs in the side portions and in the ledge portion to provide strength to the corner shelf bracket.

摘要： A bundling device includes a flexible, frangible strap having a plurality of engagement teeth. Each of the teeth has a notch. A strap engagement portion is connected to the strap. The engagement portion includes flexible wings positioned in opposed relationship and a strap receiving aperture therebetween to receive the flexible strap in a first direction, the flexible wings prevent removal of the strap in an opposite second direction. A raised engagement surface extends from each of the flexible wings, opposed ones of the raised engagement surfaces operable to frictionally contact one of the teeth. The strap is loaded to break at one of the notches, and a portion of the strap is retained between the flexible wings by contact with the raised engagement surfaces.

摘要： A mount system for an auxiliary component includes two side brackets and a top bracket for rigidly attaching an auxiliary component to an engine casing. Each side bracket defines mount segments, a deformable member and two retainer members between the mount segment. The deformable member plastically deforms during a fan-blade out event, thereby absorbing a majority of the high shock load experienced on the auxiliary component. The retainer members maintain the attachment between the auxiliary component and the engine casing subsequent to the fan-blade out event.
