    • An electronic device capable of being configured flexibly with modules of different specifications includes: a main body having a slot opening formed at the front of the main body and communicated with a slot space in the main body, slot rails disposed on at least one sidewall of the slot space of the main body and module slots communicated with the slot rails respectively; and a modular device, including electronic modules, each having at least one module rail slidably coupled to the slot rail. The module slots in the slot space are configured to be corresponsive to the module spaces respectively, and the module spaces serve as plug-in spaces for installing the electronic module and the module spaces are communicated with one another. The electronic device provides module application spaces for multifunctional applications and installing and applying modules of different specifications flexibly.

    • A stacked connector alignment system includes a board with processor and a board connector coupled to the processor. An alignment element is mounted to the board adjacent the board connector. The alignment element includes first alignment members and second alignment members that are spaced apart from the first alignment members. A first component includes a primary first component connector and a secondary first component connector that is located on an opposite surface of the first component from the primary first component connector, and the first alignment members are configured to engage the first component to align the primary first component connector with the board connector. A second component includes a second component connector, and the second alignment members are configured to engage the second component to align the second component connector with the secondary first component connector when the primary first component connector is connected to the board connector.

    • A module holder is provided which includes a first foot for supporting one side of a module, a second foot for supporting the other side of the module, and slots detachably assembled between the first foot the second foot provided as many as are necessary corresponding to the number of modules to be mounted therein. An engaging unit may be formed between the first foot and the slot, between the adjacent slots, and between the slot and the second foot, for fixing each component detachably. Since the slots are formed as single products and engaging portions are formed between the slots, so that the slots can be separated or engaged, the slots can be assembled as many as are necessary corresponding to the number of modules to be mounted and modules may be added, if necessary. Accordingly, the space of the module holder occupying equipment can be minimized, improving the space utilization of the equipment.

    • An interface device secures an instrument to a docking station having a casing having at least one signal port and a mounting rail mounted within a recessed portion of the casing. The signal ports may be power or data communications ports. A back panel forms part of an instrument housing for housing the instrument, a first portion protrudes rearward from the back panel and a first recess is carried by the protruding portion. The first recess is dimensioned to receive the mounting rail. A rail cam is rotatably mounted within the protruding portion and is aligned with the first recess to receive and retain the mounting rail and at least one first-portion signal port carried by the first portion. The first portion is dimensioned to fit within the recessed portion of the casing such that the rail cam is positioned to receive the mounting rail and the at least one first-portion signal port is aligned, in a complementary fashion, with the at least one casing signal port. A pole clamp assembly may be positioned near the first and second portions. A pivot member is moveable between a retracted position and an extended position and a post having an axis. The post is mounted to the pivot member for axial movement and mounted thereto such that when the pivot member is retracted the axis of the post is substantially parallel with the back panel and when the pivot member is extended the axis of the post is substantially perpendicular to the back panel.
