    • A frequency synchronization method comprise a first step of detecting a frequency error which occurs when a high-frequency receiving signal is converted into a digital signal of a base-band, performing rounding or discarding processing and generating a local oscillation signal depending on the converted analog signals, a second step of generating a digital signal whose frequency depending on a discard component obtained by the rounding or discarding processing when the rounding or discarding processing is performed, and a third step of canceling a frequency component of the digital signal which is generated by the second step from a frequency component of the digital signal of the base-band.

    • An apparatus and method for frequency synchronization is proposed to obtain the pilot tones and evaluate the frequency offset and time offset for frequency synchronization. The frequency synchronization method has the following steps: filtering a baseband signal of a frequency correction burst by using multiple pre-filters; measuring the baseband signal and the signals output from the pre-filters to produce the first power value and the second power values respectively; normalizing the maximum second power value by using the first power value so as to produce the first detection value; using the samples of the baseband signal at different time points and a predetermined mathematical function to produce the second detection value; combining the first and second detection values to produce the third detection value; and using the third detection value to determine whether the frequency correction burst is received or not.

    • In RF transceivers, a method and a system for a frequency feedback adjustment in digital receivers are provided. A DC offset may result from the difference in frequencies between an RF transmitter and an RF receiver. An adjustment of the receiver's frequency may be implemented after synchronization occurs and may be performed by utilizing the Forward Error Correction (FEC) repetition rate in a header of a Bluetooth packet. The adjustment may be performed when the frequency difference exceeds a threshold value. In another aspect, adjusting the frequency of the RF receiver may be performed by modifying and/or changing a phase locked loop (PLL) trimmer register. This approach may allow an RF receiver to operate, in some instances, without the need for an equalizer. In this regard, the power consumed by the RF receiver may be minimized and/or the overall cost of the RF receiver may be reduced.
