摘要： Active noise control systems, devices, and methods are disclosed herein. Anti-snoring systems can include a first pillow unit having at least one error microphone and at least one speaker, at least one reference microphone configured to capture sound produced proximate to the at least one reference microphone, and a control unit operatively coupled to the first pillow unit and the at least one reference microphone. In some aspects, the control unit can be configured to produce an anti-noise in the at least one speaker disposed in the first pillow unit by processing signals received from the at least one error microphone and the at least one reference microphone using gated dynamic adjustments such that the anti-noise cancels any sound produced proximate the at least one reference.

The signature may include a temperature differential in the data entry device from data entry by the user and the masking may include controlling the external temperature of the data entry device to reduce temperature differentials left in the data entry device by the user. Alternatively, the signature may include sound waves emitted from the data entry device and the masking may include masking sound waves emitted from the data entry device to reduce the detectability of the sound waves. A system may also be employed for protecting data entry to a data entry device from eavesdropping. The system includes a data entry device and means for masking a signature of entry resulting from entry of data by a user of the data entry device so as to reduce the detectability of the signature by eavesdropping.

摘要： An active noise canceller outputs a noise pattern learning request signal to a hard disk drive causing the hard disk drive to perform a predetermined operation, receives noise at this moment through a sound-receiving unit, and stores, in a nonvolatile memory unit, a relationship between the noise and a head operation data signal output from the hard disk drive. Based on the operation data signal outputted from the hard disk drive, the active noise canceller generates a noise-canceling sound while making a reference to the above relationship stored in the nonvolatile memory unit. Therefore, the signal processing needs a low degree of response for operating the noise-canceling sound.

摘要： A noise control apparatus for a vacuum cleaner, having a simple construction and capable of easy installation in the vacuum cleaner which effectively attenuates noise in a wide frequency band. The noise control apparatus includes a control unit, a noise detecting unit for detecting a noise generated from a noise source, generating a noise level signal on the basis of the noise detection, and sending the noise level signal to the control unit, a control sound generating unit for generating a control sound adapted to attenuate the noise from the noise source under a control of the control unit, and an error sound detecting unit for detecting an error sound resulting from the noise attenuation by the control sound from the control sound generating unit, generating an error sound signal on the basis of the error sound detection, and sending the error sound signal to the control unit. A low pass filter is coupled to each of the noise detecting units, the error sound detecting unit and the control sound generating unit. By the provision of such a low pass filter, it is possible to greatly attenuate noise having a frequency of 500 Hz or below.
