摘要： An adaptable drum practice device includes an attachment mechanism, including a clip or a clamp; a sliding rail; a telescoping shaft; and a device practice pad; such that the device practice pad is rotationally connected to the shaft, which allows a drummer to set the device practice pad to preferred height and rotational, vertical, and horizontal angles, and longitudinal position. The adaptable drum practice device can further include a ball joint with a locking mechanism, and the telescoping shaft can further include upper and lower shafts. The adaptable drum practice device allows a practicing drummer to attach the adaptable drum practice device to an existing conventional training drum, quickly and securely, thereby allowing the drummer to have two drumming surfaces that resemble a drum and a hi-hat, cymbal, or additional drum.

A digital cymbal displacement detection unit in accordance with the present disclosure is configured to be directly mounted on the tube above the stand of an electronic hi-hat, as with any conventional hi-hat, without any need of changing the way how the electronic hi-hat is operated. The digital cymbal displacement detection unit includes at least one displacement detection unit and a plurality of sliding elastic elements that slide along a contact surface of the at least one displacement detection unit. Variation in an electrical parameter of at least one of the at least one displacement detection unit is utilized to determine the displacement of an electronic cymbal set of the electronic hi-hat.

The electronic pad is assembled with a drum frame of the bass drum of the jazz drum set by a support structure, and located between a drumhead of the bass drum and a drum pedal. The electronic pad does not contact with the drumhead of the bass drum. When the electronic pad is knocked by the drumstick and the drumhead of the bass drum is not knocked by the drumstick, the electronic pad and an external trigger module simulate an electronic drum sound of the bass drum and output the electronic drum sound via an output device such as earphones or a loudspeaker. Therefore, the electronic pad of the present disclosure can be used to remodel the bass drum of the jazz drum set as an electronic drum.

摘要： Improvements in a drum practice pad are disclosed. The practice pad is intended for use with a mobile or shoulder mounted percussion instrument carrier or with a stand configured for use with a percussion instrument. The practice pad incorporates most or all of the geometry of a drum that is addressed by a player. This geometry includes a portion of the striking surface, and a portion of the drum rim. The sticking surface is adjustable within the portion of the drum rim to match the central playing area and the height of the playing surface to the rim of the drum. The assembly allows for attachment or mounting and use of a practice pad from a third party. The strike location of the practice pad is adjustable to simulate different diameter drums. The incorporation of the drum rim allows players to practice rim shots.
